If you cut out carbs you can load up on proteins and fats and still lose weight. That is, your weight gain is controlled by being starved for carbs, not by eating a healthy diet. Alternatively you could cut fats, or cut proteins. Of course you won't be very healthy throw your diet way out of whack.
