I guess going around 2 times don't count as "looking for a spot to land." or "safe practice". Raybanman please do not fly in the wilderness. They don't need crybabies. LOL J/K

better yet, you should ALWAYS do a fly by before landing on such remote terrain. its just common, safe practice.

Wouldn't you want to have a look at where you are landing too? You can't just put it down anywhere. You look when you are a little high, then have a look at what it looks like on short final etc. sometimes there are rocks or ruts or dips that you can't make out from even 50'.
