The Borealis has "Aperture Science" written on it... that's the point - it's not from Black Mesa, it's from the company in Portal that competed with Black Mesa for government funds. Only the exterior of the ship is real, though - the interior is probably just a modification.

you can also find borealis in half-life 2 episode 2 when you are in same room with alyx, eli and kleiner and there is a monitor where you can see borealis. noclip thru that monitor and keep going until you see it, its not far away.

into the root of you game (where the hl2.exe is) then create a .txt with notepad and write

(or whatever the directory of your mod is called) then save it as "missinginfo.bat" and put the file into your half-life 2 folder

YEH, i was thinking Alyx and you would take the helicopter off to the borealis, but the combine spot you and Alyx drops you off at an iceberg near the borealis, and then she has to distract the combine so she cant come with you. But falling from a high height after she pushes you off, you land and black out, THUS beginning where the video begins!
