its ashame what happened to the original people who sang this :( In 1970's was the cambodian war right? and they were executing singers and entertainers to stop people having fun . And the guy from the orginal band got shot and the woman from the original band disapered in mysterous circumstances quite sad really :(

No!! The charm of Dengue Fever is they sing in khmer. There are enough English singing bands out there, no need to neuter this one. This is like saying Cambodian food is good, but it's better if it is changed to fit an English audience. No thanks :)

Just watched them on Jools Holland...pretty good, and Mr Ray Davies concurred. The first goodish new band I've discovered in about year. What a dire state music is in. This is fairly novel.
