Quite possibly Led Zeppelin's greatest song everyone considers it Stairway but Kashmir is their shining masterpiece and more people today should listen to it today..............
@scarfacedan09 i personally think their shining masterpiece is either black dog (which is my epiphany song, that got me over from rap/modern music, im only 14) or achilles last stand. a.l.s. is page's favorite song and is the greatest "modern" epic. although stairway to heaven may be the greatest song of all time, it isnt my favorite led zep song. if that makes any sense hahaha
i know this isnt actually live, but this music video (from "latter days") was my first introduction to footage of zep. The colors and the sense of otherworldliness totally captivated me, and i love this music video as much as any live performance, perhaps more. i get a feeling of nostalgia of when i was first getting into Zep, before the initial thrill had worn off.
I agree that this version of Kashmir is absolutely fabulous! Could I please ask if you know the DVD it comes from? I thought it might be on the Deluxe 2CD/1DVD "Mothership" set but it turns out to be different. Thanks
