This was one of the staple games of the LAN parties I used to go to. Hands down, one of the most underrated and best combat systems for any PVP game. Only problem is, people spam jumping with 2-handers the entire time, takes no skill, and you will get wrecked by any player who knows what they're doing.

Yeah, this game has one of the most intense combat systems ever made. No global cooldowns, no rotations, just shields, slicing and throwing. We used to LAN this between 6-7 computers, and I didn't have a voice left after the first 30 minutes of gameplay.

i played this game from 2003 till 2008, i was a hardcore rune hov gamer.

i had a dedicated server, i had allot of members of our clann and i make rune maps, but since 2008 i stopped building maps and i stopped playing. i go buy a new pc and maybe i go play rune again, and mapping. i had those years allot of fun with this game. one of my favourites multiplayer game

actually i don't like when noobs jump around with large axe and spam attack in flyight. My favourite gamestyle is using dwarven work sword and do most attack on the ground without jumping.

This is the game where if you get hit on the foot with an axe, your entire body explodes into a million peaces -_- I'm not joking. All people do is hop around with large axes/ hammers and spin, while spamming there attack. The game completely relinquishes all forms of tactics you could use in like in other games. You cant be sneaky, or hide in places because you die for standing in 1 place to long. -_-.

If you say no tactic , then watch a noob playing against an 8 year player. score= 100-2
