I remember in the 8th grade these guys played at my middle school (stanford middle school) during assembly, and all the black girls went crazy for the white boy!!
@archy2frank2 wow r u serious haha thats sooo funny and cool the white boy(wade robson) had swag i bet he was dancing his ass off what song they perform?
Whoa who would have thought Wade Robson (White Kid) would become such a great choreographer. Hes the white guy with blond spikes from You Got Served. O.o Lolz from hiphop to Nsync and Britney Spears Lolz :D Luv that guy
@NsyncCuties08 hes universal wen it comes to music but even HE said his choreography always has a hip hop root to it no matter who he choreographs for cause he also choreographed for usher
@idahosatha12 I was Jus sayin its surprising to me that he would choreograph a group that is so different compared to hiphop haha dont cry about it :D
@NsyncCuties08 ohh no im not complaining about what u said its cool :P lol but yea he was a pretty good rapper tbh once i heard quo funk for the first time i immediately thought "who the hell is dis white kid hes a good rapper"
@NsyncCuties08 he married some famous actress lol hes just chilling haha and yea they both were good its sad that kids from these days in the 90s lol are better rappers and display more skills they alot of rappers today
man this brings back memories.. this song still got a kinda cool sound to it.. except when wade robson turns into a jamaican.. never understood why they had him do that and it still to this day sounds stupid.. lol almost like sno.
@idahosatha12 IT WAS POPULAR THEN THEY WERE GONE. I THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING IN THE DIRECTION OF MOBB DEEP B.U.T. THEY WERE DANCING AND CHEESING FOR THE CAMERA..I DIDNT GET THE DIRECTION THEY WERE GOING WITH DIS SONG AND VID
@STARRBUCK1973 the direction seems more like a dancing kind of party video because the song was more of a dance song and thats basically the direction every1 is dancing, and they added the low rider with hydrolics i guess cause they was from california but ya thats basically the direction
whatever happened to them? lil advanced for their age but i loved them. i know MJ was the founder of them which blows my mind. anyone knows where they went or if they are doing anything?
@twiliteroze White dude chrorograghed dances for Britney Spears and NSync...he went on to do some dance shows as a judge, producer or whatever and the other guy was a model and he is married to that girl Zaria from The Parenthood.
I remember this track from back in the day (1994), and I knew right away that this track copies off Kris Kross' track "Jump." No wonder this rap group duo only lasted this one album before they disappeared! Michael Jackson was associated with this?
Still, much better than the rap and hip-hop music that's playing on the radio these days. BTW, I finally purchased this CD 16 years after its release. :-)
@lovelycinnamongirl I don't think they were really rappers anyway. They just played the part, but they did have other talents that they managed to greate adult careers with.
Wow.. I specifically remember seeing this video for the first time at about midnight on BET back in 1994 I think it was. The song was cool, so I bought the cassette tape. The album itself was solid as fuck. And just for the record... The white kid is Wade Robson.. He is now a successful dance choreographer. He has worked with Nsync, Brittany Spears etc. He even had a dance show on MTV back in 2004! Damn, I really do miss these days.
Lakers fan (rite I was like nooo way then but now I'm like it wasn't dat bad it woulda been better if they left the flannels and gangsta look at home it was LA 94" lol 9quo I guess dey wanted to go pop wit that look that's why they ant go all the way
@sonnyvito06 lol every1 had those button-ups(flannels) and all the kid rappers back then tried 2 be gangsta i mean kris kross on they second album,illegal,2low,lol quo juss never got the chance they were tite and this song didnt do too bad in sales but ya know wat i mean and now people can listen 2 it and b like whoa it actually aint as bad as i thought wen it came out...i mean they had redman, eric sermon,roclwilder...well i ono maybe people thought they were iight back then juss not enuff
I remember watching this back in 1994 I think and thinking that they were just another fake ass kiddie group like Kris Kross. Also seeing that they were on MJ's label that has nothing to do with hip-hop.
For some reason I watch it now and can actually dig it.
Wow!! I loved this song growning up. It is so funny seeing Wade Robinson as a kid. It took me forever to realize that I was a fan of his for so long. Loved it!!
WADE ROBSON!! Loved him in Quo. Now he's a hot choreographer for superstars! Who knew imitating MJ as a kid would take him as far as it has! Quo rocked!
These two need to get together just for this song, REMAKE IT with their adult voices, but don't change anything else, so I can FUCKING BLAST THIS SHIT EVERYWHERE I DRIVE. The teenage voice is the only thing holding me back man, THIS MOTHERFUCKER ROCKS
please no......they didn't even write any of their songs. Aaron Hall didn't even want to show up to the video shoot. The beat is dope . The song? Epitome of wack.. what fuck are they talking about?
epitome of wack?wtf r u talkin bout brody????dem kids had skills and u cant take dat shit away from them.....dis song is da bomb wat chu talkin about?i got they album and those kids could rap...and were a bit underrated cuz alotta they album songs were better than the singles they had...and another..who cept for da youngstas wrote they own shit???plus these kids were only 11-12 tellin em 2 write they own shit is too fuckin much anyways
Yo, don't 'kid' yourself, idaho...jux would be correct. I've had this cd since it came out and if you scour the liner notes of the cover booklet, JD Tru is credited with writing the lyrics.
and who is jd tru??its not da black kid because hes syco smoov lol but yea i know jd tru wrote most of the lyrics with sum written by redman(huh what) and dj battlecat( quo funk) but yea i knew dat lol also i lost my booklet can u send me pics or photos scanned to ur comp?
ohh yea eric did right that song dats one of my fav songs on the albums these two kids had good production and sum nice writers and they can rap prety gud too jd tru wrote blowin ... well dis song blowin up rite??and did u ever buy the huh what?, quo funk and blowin up singles??and wat am i what i she is a good song 2
Wade is now married went on to choreograph for Britney Spears and others, and the other did some modeling and is a music producer married to Regan Gomez-Preston...they have a little girl.
Wade Robson guest starred in a season 3 episode of Pickett Fences. The other rapper, Dewayne Turrentine he did some modeling, I saw him on a Tommy Hilfiger poster campaign around 2000.
puta llevo un chingo buscando este video, dudelooooooooo la vieja escuela, puya estos dos loquillos si rapeaban bien chingon loko, gracias carnal por subir el video de estos hijos de la chingada que cantan de amadre y bien firme.
well they traveled da country to tour after the album released and disbanded now da white boy is wade robson da famous choreographer and the black 1 is dewayne who became a producer and hes married 2 megean preston gomez dats wat they doin rite now
ya but its not da one wit da blong hair from orange county its the on ewho was at the end hosting the group dance off homeboy had skillz betta than alotta da niggaz dese days and they wade was 11 and da brotha 13 i think lol but ya da one at da end
Did you know wade robson is Australian? Lol you wouldn't know by listening to him huh, he ditched the accent for his rhymes though, he got good flow for an aussie kid huh :) you'd think dude grew up in cali... he a madd dancer too! He imitates all the mike jackson moves
o ya i know he was born in brisbane lolz he tottaly ditched da accent and he not only sounded like an american, he sounded like a cali kid from da hood lolz thats how da westcoast rappers used 2 rap lol but ya he does and he do got mad skillz on da mic and da dance floor and ya he do be imitating mike's moves haha i wish wade would make an album 2day cuz id buy it lol
lol yeah true he know how to imitate the accent spot on... he ain't got the australian accent no more though cuz he moved to the US when he was a youngin, so he would of lost it.. having grown up wid americans, but in some of his words he still has a hint of the aussie accent that you can hear when he talks to this day :) if wade was still doin his rap thing i reckon he'd give eminem a run for his money huh lol :)
he would give eminem some trouble and hed be another sucessful white rapper but damn wade was a true wigga he even had the earrings and juss was like a brotha but hes white he shoulda kept with the rapping and at the same time dancing and choreography hed be tite and ya he do sound american with a hint our assie talk lolz but yea he covered it up he didnt sound like he was here for 2 years he sound like he been here his whole life but ya homie had and prob still have skillz
haha yeah i noticed the earrings lol it was like he was born and raised in cali the way he comes across to the audience but very well done i thought. I can tell ya he has fooled a lot of peeps... they be like "huh!! wade's australian??!" haha but yeah he just has natural skillz i guess, he just talented like that, having never rapped before and i guess you can call him a protégé of MJ.. he basically learnt how to dance just by watching mike's thriller dance.. do you like their song "Quo Funk"?
yes i do actually i have the whole album i like that song, this one and huh what??and practically the rest of the album and yea ur right he never rapped til he came here and already he had skillz i heard that either he was heard rapping at a beach in cali well venice beach and was asked if he wanted 2 join a rap group and that he was on tour with MJ and they heard him rapping and asked him lol wade did say it wa sa great leaning experience for him lol but ya u have da whole album?
oh kool lol lucky kid huh... he would of had the best childhood :) touring wid MJ, dancing and rappin, gettin to do what he loved. Yeah i love dat song it samples the jacksons song "this place hotel" i actually haven't heard many of their songs... i don't have the album although i'm looking up all the songs i can from them cuz am lovin their style and rhymes. Did you get the album when it first dropped?
yup yup and well my auntie got it and i asked 2 listen 2 it recently and i heard da music i was like dis is da bomb and then i research finding its wade robson but first i couldnt believe he was white until i heard a line on the song QUO funk then im lik ewho is dis kid whos a wigga and got rhymes then i read sumwhere wade robson and i was like naw it cant be not the choreographer then it was confirmed so ya man they had skills both of dem
yea i do like t hat song no i love it haha and didnt that sample another of jackson's song called heartbreak hotel?lol those hoop earrings were huge but it looked good on dem lol i wear those type but not as big lol i should send wade an email saying he should make one more rap album and that i woulod buy it on the first day lol u want him 2 rap again lol
Yeah I love Quo Funk too! It samples the song Heartbreak Hotel or This Place Hotel is the original name of the song because Elvis has a song of the same name and MJ didn't want the confusion so called it This Place Hotel lol... you're right, those hoop earrings be looking good on them that was the style back then so yeah they be rockin it lol I'm wid ya on telling Wade he should make another rap album his skillz were madd crazy back then so I'm guessing he still got it in him he needa do 1 more!
I had the single of this back in the day, this was the shit and still is, and the little dudes could dance too, mad props to them sampling Y&P's,I know if this video is on here, i can find any thing on this site, and i got a whole fucking list.
i kno wat chu mean wen i found out my mouth dropped lolz wade was real good if he woulda kept dat along with dancing shiiit hed be sellin records wit flow like dat he even had da earrings lolz do u kno where i can see the huh what? music video cuz dats da first single

Yeah I love Quo Funk too! It samples the song Heartbreak Hotel or This Place Hotel is the original name of the song because Elvis has a song of the same name and MJ didn't want the confusion so called it This Place Hotel lol... you're right, those hoop earrings be looking good on them that was the style back then so yeah they be rockin it lol I'm wid ya on telling Wade he should make another rap album his skillz were madd crazy back then so I'm guessing he still got it in him he needa do 1 more!
