Because Navistar messed up with the 6.0, then royally fucked up with the 6.4L. Ford is going in-house with their diesel.

ford didn't really fuck up, it's all the emissions laws that may have compromised the newer diesels. let's face it, we went from diesels polluting like pigs even in the 90s to being basically 0 emissions in the mid 00s. i think emissions have moved way too fast on diesels. sure you may be reducing emissions to an extent, but really..are you? with less emissions comes more fuel consumption. the new 6.4's get like 12mpg, unbelievable. something has to be done about emissions.

cuz of the multi MULTI million dollar lawsuit with 6.0 ambulances back in 03 when tree huggin hippies rushed emmisions on international 2 force the underdeveloped 6.0 hence major failures with them and actually people gettin hurt or dying on life support in them... so ford mad a bullshit order 4 the 6.4's to make em waste money on it and while developing their own... thanks hippies 4 ur so called ozone freakout... but i guess lets see what the 6.7 reversed induction is made of eh?
