sorry to say this ppl try to seperate east africans from west africans. the ppl who run the media lie so much. east africans look like west africans. indigenous blk east africans look like indigenous blk west africans. don't take my word for it. go see for yourself or checkout some youtube pages.
their VOCALS are perfect, one of the most veritile creative groups in HIP-HOP POP & RnB so everyone needs to stop arguing....they are FRENCH & ETHIOPIAN do your research
Love how Talib K. is in the background when the french rapper spits. Its good he let him get is ryhme in but still pay homogage to the legend Talib. who is on the original version on the alubumn
why the hell are people arguing on here about their race? Shut up and listen to the music, what they are doesn't matter the least bit accumulating in their music.
@Tahitianish i dont even understand why people have to argue about there race, there band name is les NUBIANS. nubia was a african kingdom, i pretty sure they wouldnt reference this if they werent black or at least african
they are from cameroon but i dont know which of the parents. i quite remember when they arrived cameroon and they were shown acrossed the national television and i warm welcome back home ceremony was offered to them
No, u don't get it! I think all Africans are beautiful, I just think they kinda look East African so I guessed Euthiopian coz there's alot of Euthiopians in France. Gosh u seem so touchy like u got offended over nothing u silly girl!
Lol, nah i didn't get offended. It was the way you phrased that. Apparently other people misread what you meant judging by the thumbs down you got :), so i'm not the only one that read that the wrong way. But no biggie, we just misinterpreted you.. Yea, all Africans are beautiful. They're Cameroonian.
Oh oops I got 2 I read the wrong one! How can people read it the wrong way it's ridiculous gosh if I said "they must be Euthiopian because they are beautiful" then I'd understand, but I commented they were beautiful & then asked if they were Euthiopian because I wasn't sure where they were from oh who cares! lol!
Man, I had a chance to play the drums on Tour with these two Fun Loving Sisters!! We had sooooo much fun!! whats up to everybody in the Butterfly network!!! JunkYard Drummer!!! PEACE!!
To have a woman so beautiful and yet conscience of herself, knowledge and greatness is the most beautiful thing in the world. Only a very few blackman have been so lucky!

Where the fluck is Talib Kweli?? This isn't the version I wanted to hear. I'm glad this crap version wasn't on the album. Nice video though. What country are they in? Nigeria? I saw someone mention Cameroon, but I'm still not 100% sure.
Hélène (born 1974) and Célia Faussart (born 1978) from Paris, France. Their mother is Cameroonian and their father is French. In 1985 the sisters moved with their parents to Chad. Seven years later, they returned to Bordeaux, France and began singing a capella, producing poetry slams in Bordeaux and Paris, and singing background vocals for various artists worldwide.
The video was shot in South Africa Johannesburg. (My home town.)
Love this video thanks for posting it. Check out the new BLACK INK "Cherish The Day" video directed by BLACK INK. Very beautiful. Album coming soon!!!
If some of you are looking for beautiful french music, listen to Kayna Samet's. I thought there was no hope for French music since Les Nubians and then her album came out in 2005... And what can I say? her music is superb, with meaningful lyrics and real depth, just like The Nubians' it really moves me (thought the musical style's different). Sorry for sounding like a commercial but it's just so hard to find real music these days...
The one on the left reminds me of RES! she's another talented young songstress i'd definitely take a chance on! RES' debut CD is still so ''cutting edge!''

Well Nubia is a region and not a country but I think consider themselves Nubian since it's an afrocentric term for "black." They were born in France though and moved to Chad, then back to France.
