tell you this. Darksiders is awesome.

OK! fetch quests, hack and slash, third person shooting, puzzle solving, horse riding and treasure hunting and wargears.....this game doesn't excel in any of those but somehow they are keeping the game from getting monotonous.

worth buying the game....if under 30 dollars.

So yeah. its like a mix between god of war and dantes inferno with the whole graphics and how the game is set up, but the actual game play reminds me of zelda. On how they say you have to defeat the main people and on how the guy helps you and follows you around n stuff. Not gonna lie they couldve come up with a better main character because this just looks like a typical character for this type of game. almost like they just gave up on being creative. this of course is just my opinion.

darksiders is sort of different. DS is focusing on the 4horsemen(pestilence,war,famin­e,death) which is from the bible. Im not christian fyi. and it's in the future. The hud and gamplay is more towards DMC. Story is original. While gow is greek myth. Set in the past. Very limitd arsonal+gameplay. DMC is more greek myths. Also if u havnt noticed it's hard 2 cum up with new gamplay n grafics this day n age. But if u listn 2 the story n look at the lil changes in gplay and graphics u mite enjoy this

I would have to recommend this game. A lot of people like GoW and I do too and Dante's Inferno is very close to GoW but with GoW 3 coming out soon I would recommend getting this game and waiting for GoW 3 to come out.

It's basically a repaint of God of War with Zelda and Portal gameplay thrown into the mix with costume pieces and character appearance visual design stolen from World of Warcraft.
