Kodak ESP 7 from my experience work flawlessly and the photo are high quality, plus really cheap ink. Best bang for my buck cost and quality. Seems really fast to me. Just my thought base on my experience with the Kodak ESP 7..

@ycunderground - Yeah man, I've had the same experience. And quite a few other people also have. It's a shame that people like this give the printer a bad name.

I mean, I've set up my Kodak to print 30 pages, I went away and when I came back, every print had been done flawlessly.

I have a Kodak ESP5 that works great!!! Not the fastest but whats the big hurry....The pictures are as good or better than lab photos.And the ink is cheap!

I might be able to help you out w/ your comparison ... The kodak is a peice of shit ...

Don't feel bad Mine out of the box would not print /scan or copy . but it did say I was out of ink after 2 new ink taks were installed ...

I love this video ...

I wish you would have put the kodak blank print and the HP print side by side for a longer time . so people thinking about saving ink  and getting a kodak

might figure out that kodak printers are total crap ...

have you reviewed the esp-9? apparently the 2nd generation of the Esp-9 is supposed to be much better, worked out quality issues...etc.

would love to see a side by side review of that one!

I did get a refund from kodak ( took 6 months ) And got a Canon and it works great . I allso made a kodak video ... Official Kodak printer Test ...

@XIS99 - I was set on buying a Cannon because of great printer quality and superb reviews. But my dad was paying and he just wants the cheap ink so we went for the ESP 7. Loving it so far, the printing is fast, and high quality. I just hope it stays that way so we both don't get screwed over by stupid big corporations!

@MyRandomReviews Try to do a scan use the photo on a box of Kodak paper it has a lot of colors also look at the kodak logo and see if the print matches The model I had was the ESP3 well if it was such a great printer why were they discontinued ?

Your ESP7 is a more expensive model and hopefully they have the bugs worked out .

But please try to scan something and see what happens ?

@XIS99 - Well the iPhone 3G was a great product but that was discontinued... Things move on, the ESP 3 has been replaced by the ESP 3250, and the ESP 7 will probably be discontinued for the 7250. That's how it is.

I just wish they used a better name like ESP 70 or something simpler. Adding 250 just seems complicated.

@MyRandomReviews Your right Iphones started with great products and got better and better yes things move on but the kodak printer that I got was a peice of shit ,all I am saying is I got fucked once and would never even think about buying a kodak printer ever ever ever again why didnt kodak make a good printer to start with instead of selling shit and think they could fix them later , they knew they were selling crap and they lied to me . I haven't had any problems with my esp-7 yet. I have heard that they can be pretty buggy. How long have you had your esp-7?

Try doing a scan of the cover of a box of kodak paper .

It will suck and and you will be surprised at how bad it will look .
