I was in flute choir that year(my primary instrument was Bassoon, but I played the flute in Marching band, pep band and flute choir). In my years at HSE I can only think of one male flute player and he graduated when I was a freshman. It is fun to get on youtube and see something you were a part of!

I love this! I was totally in the room while they were playing this, I had just finished playing with the clarinet choir. I am so happy you put this up. To awnser the previous question there are no guys in this flute choir because there were no boys in the entire school, that I knew of, who played the flute. This made my day and brought back such fond memories of contests and wind ensemble.

Get a bass or an alto. I did and I also got lucky. The larger flutes are so cool. Rock on !

Someone asked who wrote this arrangement, and I cannot answer that at this time. My daughter is off at college and the sheet music is at the high school band department. Thanks, however, for the interest.

wow..this sounds amazing..like it has strings in it..but it obviously doesnt..i'm very impressed...i especially l ike the part where all the trills come in. beautiful..and i request that maybe i can get the flute parts for this? in sheet music or on line? i can hear about 4 or 5 parts....agian...its oudns FANTASTIC!
