Perkins was mellow, modest guy. This was in 1959, before Psycho. Tall Story came out in 1960, and was a good light comedy. He had good chemistry in that film with Jane Fonda, especially in the sexy shower scene. His next film was Psycho, which oddly had another shower scene of a very different nature.

In his later years, he seemed to have lost that, looked pretty bazaar at times. If you see any of his earlier films, he was great, however, with psycho he got typecast..you just need to look at his work after that...a shame that his talent was wasted.
