It is roughly the same size as a T-Maxx. T-Maxx's are wider and lower to the ground, and also break a lot...pretty much suck in general. The savage is a bit taller, and WAY MORE durable.

i have the savage 25 and i put the sts .28 in it but i cant seem to tune it properly. can u tell me what carb setting u are running or the factory setting for the engine please. im completily stuck with it :(

That truck look excellent, you should always use a body on tarmac it really messes up the top. Also how was the breakin with the sts engine ive heard mixed views.

Thanks, I heard mixed views aswell. Generally how it goes in RC is there are people that just go for the top brands (Like the O.S.) and will not accept anything else that people say it is good because it is 1/3 the price they paid for their high end engine.

I love the STS 28 and have not heard anything bad about it really, kinda finicky on breakin for tuning but it mellows out perfect. ITS A POWERHOUSE!! I snapped my STEEL Dogbones with it....

The O.S. 30 is also a great engine, but quite pricy compared to the $110 O.S.

Sold it at least a year ago :( Now I have the Brushless Lipo 60MPH RC18 and a REVO with an O.S. .18Tm with about 55mph top end.

The revos are good trucks ive had my 2.5r one for years but it starting to wear out and the electrics are looking better all the time.They may evetually be the death of the nitro trucks with those sort of speeds.

Nah. I think if nitro has made it this far I think they will keep going. I am a avid fan of nitro, I'm not saying one is better than the other, in fact I have a mini baja and yeah its cool but for me it's hard to beat the sound and smell of a nitro.

Great job on the wheelie bar, I have the stock HPI wheelie bar but I like yours better. It's wider which makes it a bit more stable...not that it matters when you are going across a open field :)
