Probably the worst thing was that Randy dies, which was the biggest mistake they made to be honest. It doesn't make sense Sidney always hanging out with Dewie and Gale in the sequels, that's just awkward. She needs someone her age, who went through it all with her, and it would've been nice if eventually Sidney and Randy had gotten married at the end of the series. Seriously, that was a stupid mistake...but I do see why they got rid of him (still a stupid mistake).

Am I the only one who actually found the seuquel better than the original?? Don't get me wrong, the first scream movie was legendary and a true impeccable masterpiece (also groundbreaking), but Scream 2 took everything that was great about the first movie and expanded on it. Especially the score, the visual flair and the script are way more intelligent (although no scene in the franchise can beat the opening and ending of the first film!)

I think it was a huge mistake to kill Randy...Randy is loved by everybody and Kevin Williamson and wes Craven fucked up killing off Randy and now they regret it they were even trying to bring him back for SCREAM 4  but it would be to cheezy

Scream wasn't really planned to be just a trilogy back when Scream 2 came out. It was just the sequel. That's why Randy died.

Scream 2 was simply incredible. I mean, in an age of crappy sequels, this one stood on its own as it nearly surpassed the greatness of the original Scream.

I heard rumors of Scream 4 a while back. But it was canceled because none of the cast agreed to take part in another. So that was a dead idea. But now they decided to go through with S4? Well if it's a new cast then I don't doubt it to be true considering old cast won't be in it. But a new cast? How would it even be Scream then...not to mention most of the old cast died, not literally but in movie(Randy xD).

Meh, all my favorite characters in Scream died >.>

Because the film needed to make the audience aware that ANYTHING good happen and that NO ONE is safe. I love Randy too but his death was one of the best things about Scream 2. It made the audience realise anything was possible and therefore created suspense. Scream 3 didn't do anything nearly as daring and was a far weaker movie for it.
