what we and you? i am canadian too. team canada dominate in the juniors, but the olympics is a different story. sweden and russia are the 2 hottest teams right now, follow by canada, finland and maybe the US of A. don't forget czech rep. is quite strong too. we don't own the gold medal, the other teams will play just as hard to get it.

But I mean, come on. Canada was easily the favorite to win, but got smoked in the third by the russians even with home ice advantage

I think the US has some strong talent, they finished 1st in the whole tournament, but simply put Canada just didnt let them play the US style game, and we shut them down compleatly. Their was little the US team could do.

Canada was the favourite and we got to cocky and the goalie shut off, and of course the coaches slept as a result, we lost. We learn from that heart breaking loose, give credit to the russians, and come out next year a stronger and better team that learned.

The US barely played any styled game through the tournament, they were mostly just run-and-gun, which worked against lower-quality teams. But, when they got up to a team better than they were, and that was playing strong styled hockey, they fell flat.

The Swedes were the favorite everywhere but Canada. Of course Canadians think they're the favorites always, but Sweden was much better than Canada.

The Russians outplayed you. They just wanted it more. Dont blame the goalie or coach

This was a classic example of our guys thinking it was not going to be a very difficult game to win. The US came prepared for the battle and caught our Juniors napping. I can imagine what was being said in the dressing room. Man they got fired up for the 3rd and came back to battle. Another classic Canada/USA game to the finish!!

I can't believe the US blew that game. The US owned that game up till the last half of the 3rd and they allowed Canada to get momentum back easily. I mean hell they out skated Canada in this game, several breakaway a penalty shot tore it up on the PK etc...

I hope the US doesn't go about the tournament like they did last year. It was blatant they didn't care after the loss to Canada and gave up. They could easily get another shot at them and could be for the gold.
