If Square upgraded this game and released it to a company with European and American servers with an IP block then it would make a fortune on P2P and it would have a HUGE population on F2P with moderate advertising. If this game was released with a "final fantasy" title then it wouldn't even need to be advertised much at all, the title will draw crowds and the unique pvp will hook players.

And by upgrade, I mean it only needs to improve in game graphics and create more faces, hair styles etc...

this game is totally worth it, at first i was a little worried that the graphics would turn me down, but through a buddies encouragement i tried it, went to my first PVP War, and absolutely fell in love with the gameplay. btw, if you want it to work on win 7, use the old "run as administrator trick".

Yeah, the trailer makes it seem a lot different than the game. Honestly, I've tried to play other MMOs, but I always find I come back to this one. It's a very fun game to play and you don't need to do a lot of grinding to have fun. the only major problem is lag (and the fact that other players hack with it). Give it a try and btw, they released a class called fencer (for north american version), which is kinda like a musketeer.

Also this game has serious problems with Windows 64 bit. I had to unistall it and put Windows 32 Bit to try it out. Even the help guide to fix this problem would not work with the 64 bit at all.

I gave this game a try and unistalled it 15 mins of playing it. The movements is very stiff and very confusing. The leveling system sucks monkey balls. You kill monsters and your EXP doesnt go up. You have to go look for a T Crystal that will level you after you touch it. So you can stand grinding for hours and wont know what level you are untill you touch crystal then you level. If you want to play a war game with no grinding or missions play Savage 2. Its free and tons of fun.

More like the only good games Square Enix makes are MMOs. FFXI is one o' the best MMOs out but it is too hardcore for most people, and FFXIV looks like it will be decent. Kingdom Hearts II was the last good SE non online game to comeout. (other than remakes of the good old Final Fantasy's and Star Ocean)

pretty decent game just dont think using those single hit arrow skills cause they just spam jump and only way u can actually do damage is as a aoe/nuker player, warrior got it good and scout who can use the sometimes useless bow (unless u use it aoe) and much more effective hide then sneak attack em with duel dagger fun =) mages are good but just dont alone and keep ur distance, warriors love aoe hopping at ya (even scout) its a great fun game but its still a long way till its better polished
