  • wranglerstar, I think you're abslutelly right about trees - we have to remember that old tree, 100-120 yers old producing much less oxygen than tree of 40-60 years. Very old trees, specially tall ones, producing less o2 than consuming it. It is much better to cut 10 old trees and place 100 new ones, which is not that hard to do.

  • Well said.

  • nice to see, there is still some people around that will not be bullied by the mass, i for one am looking into purchasing land in the near future for the same purpose. i do not enjoy having my neighbors so close that they know everything i do, i enjoy nature and hunting and fishing.....to those who would call me an animal killer i say, where do you think steak comes from???? i enjoy your videos and hope you will not let anyone influence you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

  • i wouldn't even bother with dealing with tree hugging hippies that don't even care about people they can go hug their trees

  • @EngineerDeven i don't think blaming hippies is terribly fair, it's like blaming atheists for the holocaust. but even worse, you think cody should try building a wood pryoliser to run his tractors? he's got plenty of wood to do it with.

  • i, for one, am an environmentalist, but i totally agree with your view, there is a big difference between harvesting trees on ones own property, and the mass slash and burn style de-forestation of the major forests of the world, such as the amazon, and in eastern russia. its the same with hunting, i have no problem with people taking a few deer or hogs each year for food, but when people kill entire herds of species and not using the animal, and trophy hunting. God Bless, Cody

  • cody to let know that u are right, i live in an area next to a national forest with approx. 1.5 million acres for over 40 yrs and as a former wild land firefighter with the U.S.F.S. we do controled burn and we have not had a wild land fire go for over 1500 acres in the time i have lived, and it is do to the burns, and mite i add that i am in the south where the heat and dry is hororble. that was a vary well put statement. God has truly blessed you and your family keep up the good work.

  • Well said, I understand exactly what your goal is. You have no way harmed any enviromental eco system. If anything you have improved it. I would love to see the place in five years. It will be awesom.

  • A very important subject, and well said Cody, like you say alot of these people tend to forget about how they live there lives, watching youtube on there laptops plugged into the grid, a friend of mines wife is a vegge and claims to respect animals but will still where leather boots and jackets??

Well just to let you know i have just joined the group and really enjoy your video's keep them coming and good luck to you and your family with your project.

    Daniel from UK

  • Trees are renewable resources... renewable resources need to be used.

If you don't use trees... they die and become deadwood. Deadwood=fire hazard. Fire hazard = threat to you and the rest of the trees.

You can always replant a tree you cut down. It's hard to replant a forest that's burnt down.

They're in that situation down in Arizona after all the fires... 1 million acres... GONE because they couldn't clear dead wood.

Hug a tree... burn a forest. Hug a forest, cut a tree.

  • To all tree hugging liberals out there. Go eat dirt and lick an earthworm or something, then go drink your politically correct coffee from a sustainable source and chat with your fellow econut gay friends. Do that long enough everyday till the day you die and rid us all of you "caring" ways. Love your channel, work ethic and moral stance. Keep the vids coming and just let the trolls live their empty existence. God bless and keep us all in these troubled times. Don't lose heart, keep smiling.

  • What you are doing is far from environmentally irresponsible. While it may be destructive in the short term, once you and your family decide to leave the property the woods will reclaim everything you have changed in a few short seasons. Keep doing what you are doing and to hell with all the bleeding hearts out there.

  • People who do not believe in God are typically isolated from his creation. They simply haven't seen enough of his handiwork.

  • Well said Cody.

  • There is an X button on the top of the page. If you can't wrap your head around responsible forestry management and the long term sustainability of Cody's project then exercise your freedom to click the X button and move on. Go on with yourself Cody. Great work. God bless.

  • My oh my you were eloquent in this. I grew up on an island in WA State, and the government made it illegal to clear cut without a "buffer" zone of standing trees between the clear cut and the road. The idea was to protect the public's eyes from the "ugliness" of the clear cut, yet it doesn't work. You can still see through the line of trees. LOL! Well, not really funny...one more comment...

  • @LadyGardenHoe Also the buffer zone of trees were then more exposed to wind, therefor causing constant power outages during even minor storms. One time, I am not kidding, a tree fell on our car wind shield while my sister and I were still in it! Madness. Trees are a crop, and I love old growth forests. Most people live in houses made of wood. Great video.

  • i like this projest and i like you as a person and what you are doing keep it up man

  • very true; the whole project is really cool.

  • Oh who cares about the environmentalists? Those geniuses brought mongoose on an island here to help with the snake problem. Now the whole wildlife is suffering from those critters

  • Excellent response to the people who don't understand and need to be reeducated from the brain washing of public schools

  • That was so kind of you to try to educate and explain to your detractors. Unfortunately, they do understand, but they don't care. I notice the timber you take down is sent out to be utilized, not wasted. Bless you and your efforts. I, too, would be saddened to see the California redwoods made extinct, but you are doing nothing wrong. I live in a valley at the base of Pikes Peak that has not "burned" in over 100 years. We are in a drought. Scary stuff. Ignore silly folk and please share.

  • I love trees but I understand that we need 2 make sacrifices. What I think is really sad is that trees r considered more human than and unborn children.

  • I'm all behind your project and support what you are doing. I suspect there is a silent majority that feel as I do, and wish we could do more in our own lives to follow your path. Sometimes it is just those who are quick to judge who maybe give you the impression correctly by most. All the best, Paul

  • Cody you do not need to justify yourself to these ninnies! I would be the first person to chain myself to a tree if I thought it was being cut down for the wrong reasons. But what you have done is completely necessary and in fact environmentally sound! If only these people could see the big picture then they may realize what hypocrites they are! Keep the faith brother, God is on your side!

  • If you don't care that people might be offended, then what is the point of this video? I agree with your reasoning, as a whole, but your delivery comes across as a sugar-coated F-U. Language like "brainwashed" and "whacko", isn't conciliatory, nor, I suspect will it stem the flow of nastygrams. How do you react to someone calling your religion whacko or brainwashed, and saying that they don't care if you are offended? These people believe as hard as you do. Otherwise, keep up the great build.

  • @ZephZhang Here is a simple solution for those people that are offended or dislike the content of the videos don't watch this channel.

  • @ibycfio "Like it or leave" utterly fails to address the issue, doesn't it? I'd be curious to know, if the original nasty-grammer (whose comments I've not read) would have stopped by the type of comment you've made, had s/he not been blocked. My experience is that F-U only tends to raise the level of heat and push-back, rather that reducing it.

  • @ZephZhang

No reason to reduce the the heat. That type of "back off just to stop an argument" attitude is why people no longer have principles anymore. Stick to what you know is right, no matter what. Otherwise, what good are you or your beliefs?

  • @ZephZhang The problem with some of the viewers are they have no respect for other viewers and whatever approach you use to reply to them can end in a F-U or worse just carry on. Cody makes videos that families can and do watch and viewers should be respectful of that.

  • i would do the same thing ur doing if i had the tools and land im shure you will get a lot of enjoyment out of the cabin your cuting a few trees not a big deal its not like ur striping a a big mass of land for a warehouse or a bunch of houses some people need to get overthem selfs

ps unless u live in a cave like a caveman you are just as guilty as the guy that cut the tree

  • Shouldn't people who don't want trees cut down live in tents instead of houses? I would respect their point of view then.

  • Ask the tree huggers what do they use to wipe themselves after using the toilet, do they have a big bag of leaves in their bathroom. They can't use toilet paper that comes from trees.

Enviromentalist use wood products everyday, I seriously doubt they write on paper made of hemp. They live in a house with wood furniture, house made of wood.

  • Great response to a potentially controversial issue. Love the videos and look forward to them continuing.

  • i think your being responsible with the land and i hope your homestead project gose well!!!

  • Don't make excuses for these men and women who worship the creation more than the Creator. Their hearts are turned towards four footed beasts and creeping things on the earth more than theiir fellow man. They deny the existance of God and label men as plagues on the earth. Their hearts are darkened therefore their thoughts confused and their passions are misquided. They condone the abortion of babies yet they would risk their lives to save an eagles nest or turtle in the ocean.

  • Thanks for the video Cody, I hope it encourages more civil discourse. Some food for thought, wildfire severity and extent does seem to be correlated with increasing fuel loads in forests, but that can probably be attributed as much to decades of fire suppression as to extraction practices.

  • Cody, I appreciate your point of view. It is quite frankly no ones business what you are doing on your own property. I enjoy seeing your progress. Thanks for sharing & God bless.

  • we (americans) have planted 10 times as many trees as we cut down since our existence here on the continent...some people just dont understand, which is fine, it was good of you to educate anyone who had doubts or a misunderstanding of what your doing...happy belated fathers day Cody

  • Because of environmentalists here in Arizona, we now have the biggest wild fire (Wallow Fire) in Arizona history. The environmentalists killed the logging industry in that area of our state some years ago, hurting the local economy and hurting the local wild life. I herd that there is supposed to be 30 pine trees for every acre in that area where the fire started (to keep fires from getting out of control), but because logging wasn't allowed there, ther is 2000 pine trees per acre. Great video.

  • Cody, some people just don't understand.

  • Sensible commentary. Clearly you are a good steward. Be encouraged by your fans, including this one.

  • Is It Wrong To Cut Down Trees? It can be wrong, But what you'r doing is not... Keep up the good work. We love seeing it.

  • Thank you for sharing your OHP with the world. Great ideas, and great motivation. Keep up the great work.

  • Nicely said. Yeah I've noticed quite a few comments asking "why cut down trees for no reason???". It's pretty obvious from watching just a few of your OHP videos that you need to clear the land for your well, off-grid homestead.

Like really, are you supposed to build a zig-zag house around the trees (nevermind the other reasons to clear)? Some people just can't think.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • Love your project and your family / life philosophy. I wish you were my neighbor.

  • @pr4runner He is my neighbor, isn't that cool?

  • I totaly agree with you. We are the stewards of this earth, it is our responsability to manage the resources of the land upon which we live.

  • can make every body. so don't even try. like the videos keet it up!

  • Very well said!

  • If it were bad to cut down trees wouldin't tha same logic say it is bad to mow my grass?

  • As a Native American, if you cut down said tree you must plant two in its place. Respect The Great Mother and what she provides you.

  • TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU... dont listen to the enviro-retards they live in the city and think that because they grew a plant (probably weed) are "helping" the planet...

  • "Watch Trees Fall" LOL! Yankee Prepper rubbing off on ya.

  • Half these people that criticize you, have probably not even spent time/lived in the woods. They live in cities where the only trees you see are planted in sidewalks.

  • Seems to me these trees belong to you ,dont they ? Well then you can do what you want , Im thinking that if some of these people have a beef about the way you treat your land they should have bought the property before you did and let the land do what it is going to do . You are not logging and walking away are you ? So you have my vote to keep up the good work ! By the way Im doing the same thing you are doing only Im in the mountain country of southeastern Mo. Good work !

  • Well said.

  • Cut em down mate.

  • You approached this conversation with a well reasoned response. Still it surprises me that you need to defend yourself here.

You have never come across as someone who is not a good steward of the environment. Especially in an area where you plan on living for many long years.

    Keep up the great work!

  • You and I are alot alike, Ignore the "asshats"

  • Even if sometimes I feel bad about cutting big mature trees, I always keep in mind that a tree catches c02 and produce oxygen only when it's growing, not when it's mature so, don't bother with these people, don't juge them, they're just ignorant. Keep up the good work Cody, I'm a 100% with you....

  • I had these discutions so many times... I do two things to live, logging, and building log furnitures. If you take a exterior bench for exemple, people rather go to Wal-Mart and buy one made in iron that is gonna last for a period of time then throw it away and buy another one instead of having one made out of logs that is gonna last for a 100 years... Real good for the environment!!!!!

  • You are useing the lumber you cut down as building material as well right? i dont think those people realize that ether. I think you a great guy who hasnt been brain washed by this global warming mumbo jumbo, but at the same time loves the beauty of nature and im sure you are managing it correctly so if people think thats a crime and insults you then just kick em off your channel, they obviousely wont like anything else you do.

  • I love my chainsaw! However I love nature and trees much more, catch 22, my knowledge of how to cut down trees affords my living, it`s not lavish by any means just a plod on kind of way, but along the way I have helped many trees that would have slipped into deterioration had I not removed damaged limbs, allowing this tree to bear fruit and seed another day. People who cast aspersions while im in a tree tend to drive a Prius! which requires huge habitat destruction for all those batteries!!!

  • Great vid...I agree with u 100%, trees will grow back....and with using solar we are doing our part in not using coal, oil, ect. Lets save as much as possible for the later generations that will come after us..........thankx ...great vids

  • Some trees wont grow back and should not be cut, but these are in places like the amazon where people are destroying the ecosystem. the trees around where i am in the US are very similar to yours, and i'm sure if you left that property right now for a few hundred years, nothing would be left to indicate your logging. Some people just don't get it.

  • Is it your property or do you have permission?

Do you live in The USA?

    Well, its nobody else's business.

For over 400 years we have been using wood in USA to build homes, There are still plenty of trees. BTW- What do these complainers live in? The materials in their homes came from somewhere. Its a shame they complain rather than learn.

  • Cody good response to these people, and a very good and CORRECT view / explanation of reality. However these people do not live in reality. They have been brain washed just as you have said, since early child hood for the most part. The rest just have no since of reality and or no since of freedom, not for you or I. But they don't want you pointing them out, don't tread on what they want in life. Kind of makes them Hippocratic.

    GOD Bless you sir.

    Jeff Gibson

  • Very much appreciate what you are doing, I really dislike seeing good people get attacked over such pettie issues. Trees do grow back. Well said Cody.

  • Well said sir. God bless.

  • Trees grow back they are a renewable resource.

Ask what a enivromentalist lives in ? a house what is it built with, yes it is wood.

Sorry not a fan of enivromentalists.

  • California tree hugging idiots don't believe in preventative forestry maintenance, that's why they believe in huge destructive forest fires that destroy homes that insurance pays to replace that causes everyone's insurance costs to rise.

  • @YourLoveLetter i think you missed the point lol

  • California tree hugging f@gg@t5's don't believe in preventative forestry maintenance, thats why they believe in huge destructive forest fires that destroy homes that insurance pays to replace that causes everyone's insurance costs to rise.

  • preach brother, preach. the key word for me here is stewardship. my family sends its love to your family, happy father's day!

  • Cody,

Very well said and a very nice response to the comments you have received. Like you said, it's a renewable resource!

  • environmental conscious people are upset over a homestead project ahahaha?

  • Thank you for speaking the truth. Responsible logging is not a sin nor should it be a crime. What you said about the miss management of our forests is so clearly seen in the southwest with these huge fires. Thank you again for the facts the beautiful truth.

  • If it was up to the environmental extremists, we would be living in mud adobes sitting in the dark, hungry, and with no job waiting for the government to magically come up with some aid that fits their criteria, while they burn up marijuana leaves.

  • ✭✭✭✭✭

  • hey you were talking about the diesel engines running, 1 volcano when it erupts and throws out all of it ash and gasses it produces more pollutants in to the environment than man can do in hundreds of years. so they can take there ruining the environment crap and shove it up there ass.

  • Cody...keep moving forward and please do not be dismayed I've followed you from the Wranglerbarn days and you are one of the best on youtube, at least for me. Your message and project is a noble one. I wish you and your family the best of success. Happy Father's Day to you!

  • Great video!

  • Timber is the ultimate renewable resource!

  • I love nature & the forests. I do however believe in being good stewards of the forest too. I was hoping for a better argument here. I think you're a bit more irritated by the negitive comments than you should be. Clear cutting monoculture replanting forests is bad. Selective clearing, small scale cutting, thinning forests, help the larger forest. The channel Wintertrekker‬‏ talks often of forest life cycles. Cutting & burning is vital for a forest. Fire is actually very important for forests.

  • It is sad that you have to spend your time fending off environmentalists. God gave us all of the earth including trees to use. It is also puzzling that they would take you to task instead of holding you up as a role model as I do. I don't think they know what off grid really means!! Stand tall Cody.

  • Hunters and fisherman do more for the preservation of land and wildlife than any other group, especially liberals who do absolutely nothing, but complain the loudest! Great video Cody.

  • It's been decided. You sir, are awesome.

  • very well said, You are doing nothing wrong you inspire me with this project and definitley inspire me by responding to your critics as a christian man should.

  • some trees take hundreds of years to grow.and unless one of these trees was a danger i'd leave it alone.however pines can grow over 50 feet in 25 years easly.so i would have no qualms cutting one down.other trees also grow fast like oak and ceder ,and i would make fire wood and lumber out of them with out a second thought.

  • Obama has a 48% approval rating, people will believe anything. I have pretty much given up trying to convince them otherwise. Environmentalists nut jobs will never allow a video displaying any amount of logic or facts to dissuade them from their views.

  • To the people complaining I ask: What have built on your own property? Oh you don't build, oh you don't have any property......then you don't have an opinion.

  • When it takes up to 250 years for something to fully grow back and even longer depending on a specie.. it becomes a more complicated issue. If people are replanting trees they cut down i dont think there is a problem, but most people dont. Question is do you have the right to destroy something older than you, that will out live you, if you dont replant for the next generation. The government wants people to respect the age of a tree, and the next generation.

  • @YourLoveLetter The government does not care about nature. Look at the BP disaster fiasco.

  • only people working their own property to a long term goal can get this. We have spent months trying to find the best plan to get my building in with minimal damage. We took down 4 trees yesterday, not because we wanted to but because we had to. I believe you are on the right track no matter what anyone says......Happy fathers day Cody.

  • Forests love mushrooms and so do people! nom nom nom

  • I think that what you are doing shows that you are the ultimate environmentalist. You are using your own land, and talents to take care of your family. Wish I could do that. Keep up the great videos.

  • this quote from a bumper sticker says it all "against logging? try using plastic toilet paper"

  • @punkboy198 lol that would be funny in the 1920s. Why would you use plastic? There is such thing as bamboo tp, which feels the exact same, and its a grass. You can make paper materials out of a lot of resources, plastic is the last id even think to use.

  • Remember my brother the gene pool has no lifeguards

  • Nothing wrong with cutting down and replanting - or just cutting down for a greater purpose. Trees are a great resource in nature and for man's use. Just my two cents!

  • Responsible harvesting is the key, whether its fish, chickens, timber, or water !.... Clearing a patch for your homestead isn't clear cutting the forest !....geezz...''Tree-Nazis'' need to get a clue and learn the difference !...You don't have 50 ''Amish'' helpers , you need heavy machinery to do the job right ...You show good character in the videos I've seen and seem responsible and conscious of your homestead project ! I'd bet your putting the resources to good use . HAPPY FATHERS DAY !

  • I admire you Cody. Keep up the good work. Dont let a few idiots get you down!

  • HAPPY FATHERS DAY! Hope you and Jake have a Great day, happy fathers day to your Grandad!

  • A+ response. I love the forest and would love to own some forest property some day. but cutting down some trees is necessary now and again. Especially if you intend to build a home . I'm right in the middle of the book you suggested by the way Escape to God, I'm really enjoying it. Thanks!

  • I had not previously noticed the coments that prompted this reply. However, I must say your patients and calm on this issue are amazing. This was an excellent reply that I believe few could have put together. The fact that you are able to step back, and then deliver clarification without anger says a lot about you. Seeing actions like these, and comparing them to what most would have wanted to do is a good thing for us all to consider.

  • Let the guy develop his land the way he wants. It's a privilege that you're even watching this stuff on YouTube. Take the tree hugger comments to another channel, please.

  • You seem like a very thoughtful man and I don't believe for a second that your responsible attitude towards forest management, and your whole off grid project in general is anything other than the right way to go. Keep it up, we need more people with the conviction and fortitude you possess in this world. Happy fathers day.

  • Cutting trees in the Forest is healthy for the Forest.

The environmental wackos need to get educated and off the dope.

    Please ignore them.

  • @Moosedonkey If you live in WA area where hes building maybe you can join the washington state conservation corps. Or maybe just take time to learn about why they were started, and how they saved washington forests from abuse by independent loggers. I know one person cutting down trees isnt an issue...but in the past when a lot of people do this its all bad, certainly not healthy. They planted over a million trees to restore WA forests.

  • Well said! Perfectly within your right to do as you please with your personal property.

Don't bother with the nay-sayers; they will never go away.

Concentrate on the more important things, home, family and God. Way to go Cody!

  • Happy Fathers Day Cody! You sure are a great example and role model . . . love the videos where you share adventures with Jack.

    Here is my perspective.

You are clearly a good steward of your property and clearly demonstrate a passion for the outdoors. You have a very squared away approach. Additionally, you take the time to document and share with all of us.

  • I think the negative comments you have received are likely from those that don't understand or see things thru the same lens. It is unfortunate that they can't learn and perhaps enhance their perspective from your videos and view point of someone actually working the land. Most of these folks seem to be more interested in repeating back a misplaced and misunderstood "environmental" perspective which really has nothing to do with the actual environment.

  • Keep the faith and for sure keep up the good work!

  • " I'm afraid many of us are becoming indoctrinated by the environmental extremism . . . "

    Well said and very true!

  • You offended me so much, I just subsrcibed to your channel. Great videos Thanks

  • The most sustainable use of timber is the way you're doing it. You are cutting down on CO2 emissions by harvesting from the land you are building on. You are doing a good thing with this project. Remember the Roosevelt land conservation service, clearing the brush, building dams, deforesting areas.

  • that is the problem with these knee jerk tree huggers. They don't understand what is going on and don't understand what you are trying to get done there.

You do what you need to do to make a great place for your family and you. You are a good man and will make a beautiful place and will have a safe place to be if things go off the rails.

Lets see with the twits do if things go off the rails.

  • The earth needs protection, and logging trees is a good start. Environmental stewardship is a individual responsibility. Your improving the land for your family and wildlife and the future generation of the Wranglersrstar family. We are all responsible for how much we impact the environment.

  • what? who would argue about you cutting down trees to provide for your family. you are doing it 100% the right way...I applaude you for putting in the hardwork. As long as you use all the wood and dont thrill-kill the trees its fine.

  • Cody, I was with you 100% until you flatly said that you don't care if what you are saying offends anyone. You told us that you're blocking people for being disrespectful, but what are you doing by saying that kind of thing? It is inconsiderate and would normally not mean much, but it does mean something when you try to impose a standard of civility on your channel (which I fully agree with).

  • Just spent three weeks out on the fire lines trying to save the trees and homes, all the others out there were all loggers, couldn't find any "greenies" to come help!

keep up the vids Cody, most enjoying. thanks.

  • Cody I agree with you in the fact that many environmentalists are somewhat hypocritical when it comes to how they protest the use of natural resources. I was watching a PBS show last night where the narrator was traveling around Alaska on a motorcycle looking at wildlife. When he came across Prudhoe Bay where a lot of oil gets pumped out of, he called it an 'industrial wasteland.'

But where did the oil to power his motorcycle come from?

  • Happy Father's Day Cody.

  • You hit the nail on the head!!

  • Don't let these people get you down or deter you from what you have to do. Keep on truckin brother! God Bless you and Happy Father's Day!!

  • Carry on cody.

  • I have no problem with you cutting down your timber, I just think they should only be used in this country and not for import. I would do the same thing cody. carry on.

  • The fires in New Mexico are so much worse because people cant clear overgrown wood, so now when a fire does burn it burs much hotter and it tales way longer for it to recover.

  • Don't worry you environmentalists, in the new World Constitution trees have as many rights as you do. That should make you happy eh?

  • well said, glad you made this vid as ALOT of people are so brain washed to countryside managment. if the tree huggers ever get totall control of the wild we would have almost no wild left.

  • Well said cody,God bless and have a good fathers day.

  • I totally agree with you! Happy father's day!

  • Very well said, Cody. Are you going to have any videos that show how you're doing the stump removal? That's the part of this I've been most curious about.

    Enjoy this fathers' day!

  • Don't feed the trolls someone will always have something negative to say. No matter what you say you will never change their opinions and they will never really hear your response. Blessings!

  • How much land do you own for you homestead?

  • NO

Gen 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

  • OMG sigh, why should you have to respond to these people ? i am a tree surgeon , and i have been abused countless times by the passing public for both felling and maintenance work on trees, knowledge is the key! people should educate themselves on the reasons and results of this subject b4 they abuse others, i guarantee you if a tree was about to fall on their house , they,d have it down in no time, most fellers/surgeons i know love trees and understand them very well ,be respectful people,!!!!!

  • Go for it!.They grow back....

You can even plant more if you want.. thats the beauty of trees.

Ppl dont understand that you cant have trees growing right up against your house.

You have to have a defensible space around your buildings due to fire..

When forests are allowed to grow and die without some sort of harvesting then you get unbelievable fires that burn so hot due to so much fuel that nothing will grow for years in those burned areas.

  • @BackCountryHorseman Thats exactly whats happening in Arizona right now. Due to law suits by environmental groups logging in Arizona stopped. That resulted in hundreds more trees per acre then the forests could handle, which then resulted in a large amount of brush. Now Arizona is fighting the biggest wildfire they have ever seen. Responsible logging and timber harvesting actually benefits the environment.

  • Good video Cody. I agree. Thanks for the videos.

  • ★★★★★

  • I agree, trees are renewable, I live in Michigan and there are many many many..... I have a friend that manages his property well and selective cuts his every 7-10 years. Pays for all the taxes on the property and gives him some extra spending money. They are intended for our use.
