Hi, I just bought a 1990 grand wagoneer, and I'm not sure if it has locking diffs. In 4Hi I'm sure it doesn't but in 4lo I'm not sure whether it does or not.
I agree 100%, they are awesome vehicles. But confusingly enough, I looked in the glovebox today and saw that there's a little sticker in there that says "This vehicle employs a locking type differential etc."
wish i'd have gotten some extreeme muddin pics of my 85 stepside i had or some video of it going up some of the insane hills and such i used to climb with it , didn't do any rock crawling or anything but i sure went up some really steep inclines that i probably should have flipped over on. would have been nice to have had footage of all that , oh well, nice pics though, looks like you put a good deal of work in on this one
@rex4x4 yeah not really fond of body work myself but i must say i have gotten pretty good at repairing the plastic bumpers when they get caved in on the corners. I just heat them up either with a hot iron or a torch, get them good and hot without touching the paint and then pop them out and hold it in place till it cools and it's all good. no painting, no buffing or anything. completely painless unless of course you hit yourself with the torch which i am prone to do lol
why you get rid of it
