@patcism yeap. all you have to do is buy 2 rca male to xlr male cords. rca will be plugged in to the back of the mixtrack pro and the xlr will be plugged into amp or powered speakers.

And what do you mean install them? You can't use a controller for most freeware, your better off with Traktor.

But you can always check, go to options of ots turntables, and see if theres an option for external controller.

i gotta say this controller is well worth the $149 bcuz it's everything you basically need and for the price...other controllers for around the same price like Hercules mk4 or ion icue or maybe even numark total control are really basic and MICROSCOPIC!!!!

this is about twice the size of a hercules e2 and its way better quality the e2 seems all "made in nepal" status

The Mixtrack can be used with the DJIO or any other sound card. Best Buy sells the IDJ3, which is built just like the Mixtrack, but it has a sound card built in and it has a slot for a IPod. It cost $299 & u can see it on Numarks site if u type in IDJ3. It comes with

Mixvibes software.

OKay i just bought it and it looks and feels great. But.... it won't install. after several attempts, I finally got the software installed. But, in the setup config, it ask you what controller device from Numark are you using...and MIXTRACK does not come up! what the hell? support for both native instruments and numark suck because they force you to register with them (which is a journey within itself-especially with native instruments) and they take up to 3 days.

With (virtual DJ) you can configure which otputs goto mains and phones...
