  • Dude! Epic! haha How do you get that sound? I love it!

  • can you teach us

  • Excellent! Played with real spirit. Doesn't need a different guitar or anything. Don't pay any attention to all those stupid comments about making your music sound more like real surf.

  • GOOD! wanna sound even more like a surf guitarist? get a guitar with single coil pick-ups

  • Same as the guy below me...I'd love to know what techniques and scales you use.

  • @ArizonaDark Hey, sorry I didn't notice these comments until now. I used E major, A major and B sharp major and for the solos Blues minor pentatonic in E major. Thanks!

  • @jefro1826

I didnt understand a word, but sounds cool =P

  • If you could message me the scales that you used, and the scales you'd recommend for surf rock, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • @SlowMotionSeagulls Hey, sorry I didn't notice these comments until now. I used E major, A major and B sharp major and for the solos Blues minor pentatonic in E major. Thanks!

  • are u using a fender twin reverb??

  • @9graff9 Hey, I used software called Guitar Rig 2 with the Twin Reverb model, some spring reverb and analog delay. Then I recorded and looped the Chords so that I could solo over them. Thanks!

  • gracias!! estoy tocando con un software que se llama Guitar Rig 2

  • i think you need a fender guitar

  • good stuff

  • It sounds more like Rockabilly than Surf. You have the echo going, and Surf need Reverb. Still cool though. Keep it up.

  • vieras que yo tengo una stratocaster japonesa, una yamaha lp copia de 79, pero la favorita mia es una ibanez de 83 que compre en un empeño por $100

  • Learn to not get butt hurt over an opinion

    Nice playing

  • Nice playing, but your tone needs work as other people have mentioned. I think if you turned down the treble a bit, that would make a huge difference.

  • very nice, but a little bad sound.

  • thats good, alot of reverb though

  • whats your problem? i hope your amps broke..

    belss your heart

  • The 'surf sound' is reverb kicked through a tube amp.

  • reminds me of elvis presley

  • ARE YOU USING SOME KIND OF LOOPER?

  • Purely awesome!

  • Now that is what I call surf rock dude! Hang ten!

  • show me the way.

  • Very good man !! I love it!!

  • Ah, takes me back to the 60's-although I wasn't alive.

  • lol

  • what effects do you use to get that sound?

  • Is there such a thing as a "Surf Scale", or is the surf sound gathered from the reverb and high treble?

  • very cool, Dick would be proud

  • very good!
