@ftgu1968 Hi Sherry! These are so good - our mainstay especially winter. Cook up a pot and put containers in freezer for quicker meals.
No need to rinse during soak / 12 - 24 hrs good. If too sprouted they change texture a bit / because the carbs have been converted. So there's a balance to soak/begin sprout without doing it too long.

If you choose to soak them the 24 hours for sprouting should you rinse them during that process?
Can you cook them afterwards in a crock pot for the following 12 hours??
Where (locally here) do you get your GREEN chili powder?

Crockpot awesome / pressure cook fine too. Mmm smell sooo good!
