The reason why final destination 4 is called "The Final Destination" is because its the final movie. When final destination 5 was made it was named the same title as the rest because its a prequel the first movie because you see flight 180 blow up at the end.

Just like the bullshit title "THE Final Destination" is complete and total bullshit to the FD franchise, I'm not kidding. This piece of shit is so different and weird from the other movies it's like a fucking alien or something. You may be thinking that the newer NEWER movie FD 5 is complete shit right? Wrong, the movie is really good. And if your a fan of FD you should buy the DVD to replace the empty space were you threw out that piece of feces The Bullshit of the Final Destination Series

They remove the number to half-way disguise that it's a sequel. If someone hears the title "Fast and Furious 4," they might feel "oh I can't see it, I haven't seen 1-3 yet." and that might decrease the people who see it in theatres. They want to lure you into seeing the sequel no matter what, because they don't give a shit if you understand what's happening, they just want your damn money

I had the same problem with Fats and Furious 4! I saw Fast Five, and then I wanted to see the other mvoies, so I found with my friend Fast and Fruous, we thought it was the first movie, but the back of the case said something like ''Vin Diesel and (I can't remember the other guys name) are back!'' so we were confused, but watched it and in the end we were like ''WTF this is the beginning of FF5!'' and then we realized it was the fourth movie... Fucking movie titles. That's BUUULLL SHIT

In an interesting, albeit nerdy, sidenote, I was flipping through cable, last night and landed on USA where they were playing the newer "Fast & Furious" though the digital menu had it listed as the first movie from 2001.
Just a few minutes ago, I turn on FX and same guide listing says "The Final Destination (2009) but is actually showing the original 2000 movie.
Even the networks are confused by these misleading titles.
