I'm glad companies are starting to do health checks before hiring employees and refusing to hire smokers. The resulting illnesses are such a huge strain financially on the healthcare system and insurance companies. I tried it once (smoking), I didn't get hooked onto it, not only because of the smoke but it "taste" extremely horrible (possibly due to the smoke or the cigar itself) that I have to buy a bottle of ice tea just to remove the after-taste.

I had a neighbor die from one those blood clots in the brain.He died suddenly one day in his apt from a brain stroke. I don't doubt that it was his smoking that caused it.

My dad has been smoking since he was 16 and he's 50 now.
Idk if he smokes a pack a day because he keeps putting out cigarrettes and starting new ones because he's not allowed to bring his cig inside.
But I'm sure he smokes almost a pack a day and he has never had a stroke.

It's horrible to see parents smoking, having a cigarette in one hand and holding their child with the other hand.
It's also very disturbing when those who are pregnant are smoking too, I can't really understand why they think their cigarettes are more important than their children's health, born or unborn.

i never smoked in my life, im very athletic but both of my parents smoke heavily and they do not ever let the smoke leave the house. all my clothes smell like cigarettes and people think that i smoke because of it, and i am constantly breathing in the 2nd hand smoke and wake up with a sore throat most morning :(

I've seen it with my own parents - my father's weakness is that he's used to the motion of smoking and the feeling of the cigarette in his hand or behind his ear, where he would usually store one. an electronic cigarette isnt a cigarette at all. it is in fact a personal vaporizer and vaporizes a combination of water vapor, nicotine, and flavoring. it is nearly harmless, no harmful chemicals. nicotine is also not something that will cause cancer by itself. if you dont smoke, dont start but i will do as i please. i for one have made a much healthier choice and im also no longer producing second hand smoke. so buzz off

Try and quit with them. Get together and distract yourselves, or call them up on their cell if you need a distraction from smoking a cigarette. Quitting is NOT easy, but in time and with support from people you love, it makes it easier. I believe in you. You can do it, to the person behind "vmr2017".
