It's not hard to find, but depends on the model. When purchasing the cable, ask someone to show you just in case.

You are correct in that there are usages to glitched water jumps we haven't done yet. If I return to GoW 1 one day, I'll look further into this...

akheon: just a few things more to say about GOW that i found out today. you can get to the underwater tunnel fastest by doing an air rush then ABLing above the wall of the pool. requires no PR's if done 100% correctly. it saves no time though. that' and that doing an air rush to get straight to the platform at 1:00 of GoW God Mode speedrun(part 14 to 15) would be faster than diving up there. just to say.

try to find a different location for the breach (like lower down from that wall. it's a high possibility it'll work because the tunnel is connected to the water. remember the connection at 4:12 of God of War, CoP Backtracking Playthrough. SO yeah it'll work. just need to find a new breach.

There are no different locations, other than exactly above the water pool (which is pretty high up, wouldn't save time). The roof is sealed.

you know use the breach to go back and try to jump below the water to access the tunnel so that you may roll instead of under water diving to save time. are you going to try it soon akheon? remember to use the ascension (if this works) to get back up.

Dive rushing isn't necessarily slower than rolling. After all, the surface of that area is not stable, and we also have the rush glitch we can use to gain slighly more speed.

akheon: ever had the idea of skipping diving in the water when you are exiting COH by using the wall breach at 4:08 of God of War - sequence break continuation. maybe if you jump carefully across to the part of the tunnel (you know try to jump below the water, try to stay in the wall) then you can access a water tunnel and save time.

You need a certain sort of cable, one end to cellphone and one end to UBS. Transferring through USB is the simplest way IMO...

After connecting computer and cellphone, (and possibly installing some things that at least Windows XP installs automatically) you can transfer items from it just like you'd transfer anything from a memory stick or an external harddrive.
