I think that if the game recognizes that you haven't shot any bullets during a spell card and you don't die, you should still capture the spell card.

If you want to know, I beat this WITH NO LIVES. When I used up every bit of my power on bombs, I was about to have a seizure AND I STILL FUCKING DID IT ON MY FIRST TRY. (Not trying to brag, as if it counted as so.) I am fucking proud of myself but this just crushed me.

But that spell is just sick, though it has a fixed pattern it still looks extremely random :x

Also, what control method do you use, Kefit? Standard arrow keys and Shift-Z-X on the keyboard? Controller? Tablet? Telepathy?

Ya know, there're attacks that I can track and dodge with my eyes when I'm watching a video of them, but can't dodge when I'm in-game due to shitty skills and because my hands+keyboard can't keep up with my eyes. But then there're attacks like "Virtue of Wind God" here that I can't even keep up with in a VIDEO. Shit...

@TuucciZ LMAO, and that's pretty good all things considered. Of course, if you continued her stage you wouldn't have enough resources. I beat her ONCE on Easy, god knows how I did it.

@JapanForSale Now I've captured it both on Easy and Normal... On the latter difficulty, over half of the time, but on Easy, just a few times. It's really tough, but I like it a lot!

Basically, spellcards are the attack patterns used by almost everyone in the Windows games (they didn't exist back in the PC98 games.) The thing that sets them apart from other attack patterns in toher games? the fact that most of them are named. Those which are not named are referred to as nonspells.

I timed out Mountain of Faith with only one death, and the only differences is the full-speed and the cyan streams mixing with the red, or the blue mixing with the green.

How do you go about figuring out a path for this, or is there a set movement that will work?

As far as I know, Fallen and I are the only English speakers to time out this card without dying or bombing. Fallen did it a few months ago, so she was first.

A few others have it down to one or two deaths and no bombs.
