Bomb hovers are easy in oot and majora's mask, just make sure you hold the bomb long enough, but you have a window of almost half a second, which is lots.
It's a bug, if you time it perfectly it causes Link to float in mid air, thus allowing you to levitate to reach areas normally cut off. Normally impossible to do on the original N64 because it requires almost frame-perfect precision.
Its easier and faster to do it w/ bombchus. That's why he buys those so frequently. I can do it with those in real time but ive never done it with regular bombs.
You mean the endless/infinite sword glitch part? It's possible to do, but takes a couple of tries usually. This kind of situation is very difficult to do though as you are timed with only a few seconds before you get blown off.
no he also gets one from the guy in romani ranch with the baby chicks, but that guy isn't dying. also the owner of romani ranch gives you a cow mask, a deku guy gives you one for winning a race, the old bomb shop lady gives you the blast mask and so on. if you mean just in this TAS however, you're right for as far as I've seen it

In OoT, it's even harder to do because you can't shield bombs like you can in MM.

I found the easiest way to get past the gerudo pirates was to equiped the stone mask cause you can walk right past them and they notice you.
