Heels are easy to walk in (also run) but there are tips for walking in heels 1. Swing arms but not enough to pass your butt 2. Think like a ballerina graceful and happy 3. Walk slowly with medium to long strides 4. Gently sway your hips just so u barely feel any sway 5. One foot ahead of the other 6. Chin up shoulders back 7. Play slow classical music in your head for elegance.

OK, I'm a total beginner at 40 (but look freakishly young & get carded for liquor constantly).No one wore heels when I was a teen/in my 20's.We wore Doc Martens, Converse, or brogues, so I never learned.I see so many heels I love (there's a pair on Ideeli right now with wee spikes on the toe that I would KILL for) but I know I look like a spaz walking in them. i flat out run in 4" or higher it is simple run on the balls of the foot if you use the heels you could break them and fall. i have been doing it since i was 6. and she is wearing pumps not heels.

don't bother learning to run, just get used to walking backwards...that way the heel never really touches,and you can come dancing tango with me !

Its just practice. If your trying to walk in high heels, dont look down at the floor keep your shoulders back and when your walking make sure your heel touches the floor first, so heel to toe. Also distribute your weight evenly between your heel and the balls of your toes. Practice standing on on leg when wearing heels to get your balance. if your a begginer then ALWAYS start of with small heels on a pump like shoe then work your way up to the heel size thats neccesary.

Eh, she gives a few good tips put it's mostly practice practice practice. If you can't even walk in heels, I'd recommend trying out what I did: Walk around your house barefoot with your heels an inch or two off the ground. This will help you be able to balance better.

Being able to run in heels is good for when you are late for a date, see your significant other after a long time away, or just need to get away from where you are quickly.

And I agree with Aapjescake, those are NOT high heels.
