I'm from Pakistan and it is located in South Asia.Yes we love hunting just like you guys.In some high altitude areas the water holes do freeze,but thats not the case everywhere.

are the hunted ducks halal to eat ? i mean when u shoot them and by the time u catch them they are already dead ?

Yes they are halal.I had the same question in my mind ages ago so i asked a religious scholar about it, and he said its ok to eat them.But we still have to slit their throats and recite the takbeer even if they are dead.
