I think there might be some misconceptions here. According to the Bible, God is all loving and merciful. God doesn't hate anybody despite the fact that all people are constant rebellious sinners (whether they realize it or not). God does not approve of, and hates sin. According to the Old Testement, sodomy and any sexual relationships outside the holy matrimony of marriage is a sin. However, this does not mean that God hates homosexuals, he just doesn't approve of their sinful life-style.

Saying that Gays deserve to live a good life is not about enabling, it's about giving them the same rights as any person who has romantic feelings for adults, be that male or female(or both!).
