  • this footage made me want to see the whole movie again

  • it so emotional to see this scene..coz she know she's going to be blind, n still can be optimistic about it..she's a strong women

  • one of the saddest most painful movies i have ever seen. truly a classic ... Bjork stole that show from start to finish...

  • I hate what they do to her in the end. So sad!

  • @TheFaithful14u ... i studied this film very well and you are right to have that reaction, this is exactly wht the director wanted people to feel. the end is hard to watch but its supposed to make a comment on the US judicial system. not my words. the whole movie is about making a point and sometimes directors will do this sort of thing to achieve their goal. i am a filmmaker myself and its hard to find people liking this movie for its subject matter and especially the commentary it makes.

  • This is definatelly my fav song\sequence in the whole movie!

  • there is no more too see. :'(

  • Masterpiece...

  • @rauloparedes You took the words right out of my mouth! my sentiments exactly! ;)

  • This SONG should have WON an OSCAR!!!!

  • @nagwagi2000 The movie should have won the oscar, bjork should have won the oscar, von Trier should have won it too. Instead the dull Julia Roberts got it

  • I love the lyrics and melody to this beautiful song! And this original soundtrack version is way better than that other duet version by Thom York which has Bjork's character singing all the wrong lines!!! Whatever.

  • Genius of LARS von TRIER, see Melancholia !!

  • amazing movie,amazing music,amazing bjork...

  • A magical almost spiritual masterpiece, I was speechless after I first saw it (unusul LOL ) I did hear that Bjork was just originally hired to write the score only and then won the chance to play the girl.. She makes an award winning apperance.(this film is on the same level as Tarantino !!!

  • Lagu ini bagus, sangat mewakili filmnya, dibawakan dengan sentuhan emosional oleh Bjork, seperti lagu-lagu di albumnya, great singer, great actress.

  • Best thing since Funny Girl

  • I love this movie and this song, both gorgeous

  • the Best Actress for the Oscar should've been down to Bjork and Ellen Burstyn...but no...Hollywood chose Julia Roberts..............so ridiculous.

  • where's Thom Yorke when you need him?

  • What did she say before singing? sorry I don't speak english well.

  • @nazaluser She says 'What is there to see.' :)

  • I love Thom Yorke but this version is just SO much better.

  • amazing...

  • I still can't stop imagining him shoving someone into a wood chipper...

  • Amazing song...It's haunting, it's scary, it's sad and it's beautiful...that's Bjork!

  • すごい!

  • What is there to see?

  • wery good song 0:19 - 0:45

  • ooh my god,i almost cry when i was see this movie.. so touchy. i love bjork, she so fully acting. amazing..

  • @kenney1086 I did cry, and I cried next morning, and for one month I was beside myself.

To me it was as she didn't act at all, she IS Selma.

And I have loved Bjork ever since I saw her the first time on MTV with the sugarcubes and HIT. Look it up.

    Cheers

  • "All walls are great if the roofs don't fall."

  • I´ve seen that film with my friends and when it ended, we weren´t able to speak, to move, to breathe for a long time after the ending credits passed over....the only succesful treatment was that a friend of mine played some heavy metal :-D

  • :''''''''''''''''''''''''D

  • This was one hell of a movie Bjork not only wrote the songs but gave aonce in a lifetime dramatic performance which earned a Best Actress award at Cannes, I usually don't like musicals/ but this is dark Try to picture Dead Man Walking meets The Sound Of Music

  • great film..great songs...even though the words

    a lil bit akward...

  • i LOVE the Peter Stormare version so much better

  • What does she say after there is no more to see at about 1:00??

I might be in the stage version of this. how cool would that be. even to be an audience member, to be so close to it, in it.

    xx

  • I think It's not words exactly, more like gibberish

  • this song is so sad... Wonderful, but sad, as the film...

  • This movie is one of the best ever made. It is quiet, yet simple, but in its simplicity it is great. And it is one of the few musicals that go much deeper than somewhat superficial. That is what all movies should be like: critical, touching and unique.

  • I hear, and totally agree, with that! I accidentally saw it - just happened to catch it being broadcast one Sat. afternoon (last summer, on WGN[!] - good for them!)...and...I was transfixed - it was hypnotic, absolutely stunning! Wasn't able to get it out of my head for weeks...didn't really want to, tho'...truth be known.

  • Great film!

  • first musiacal i ever saw... and the best of all i ever will see, it's sure! beautifull, and music in it is magic

  • what did she say after he said "u can't see can u?" ?

  • "what is there to see?"

  • She says see you at three and then she says i can see

  • sad movie =((((((((((

  • See you at 3

  • i needed a few days to recover after seeing this movie. even just hearing the music makes the tears want to return.

  • One of the best performances in cinema and when you factor in that Bjork wrote the soundtrack as well, and it was her first acting role. It took me a very long time to get over what I had just seen after the film had ended.

  • same here and when she says 'and i know what i'll be' it makes me sad when i think about what she really became at the end of the movie

  • To be honest I really think Bjork must won the 2000 Academy Award for Best leading Actress. She deserved this award more than Julia Robert...But whatever!

  • @honggiangvogia for Hollywood is more important : BIG MOUTHS WITH FINE TEETHS....any other aspects are secondary...

  • i LOVE the lyrics

  • stupendo...what a beautiful angel voice!

  • looove bjork

  • what is she singing at 00:58 to 01:13 ?? i REALLY wanna know :)

  • my god

    a perfect movie moment

    wonderful

  • This movie really made me cry. It's so absurd what happens. Her child also stays blind.

  • Really? How do you know that? :O

    That's so sad!

  • I cried buckets too.

But I heard the character's son gets the operation to see. (??)

  • I think this is the best part of this movie!

    I <3 it! :´)

  • me too. I love scenery and the ballet, it all fits so perfectly.

  • Amazing. Crazyheart-breaking performance by Bjork. Excellent video quality and editing. Thanks for sharing.

  • i think all humans just live in their dearms , like as selma .

  • lol that's messed up :D

  • I just can't stand Bjork. Her voice annoys me. Sorry to be the killjoy :(

  • I m french I ll try to speak english. this s a great movie , Bjork's interpretation is wonderfull she s a great actress

  • I still have not seen this movie :(

And I admire both Bjork's music and Stromare's acting!!

    :(

  • It's an amazing movie. I've seen it just after its Palme d'or Festival de Cannes. It was so emotionnaly hard and powerfull that i've been completely disturbed. Nowadays, I'm still not able to see it again, even though I think it's wonderfull

  • Great film!

  • dancer in the dark..brillaint.. oh look theres the guy from prison break :)

  • it's him. Peter Stormare (John Abbruzzi in PB) plays Bjork-Selma's lover. He's not really singing. Bjork sings with Tom Yorke (Radiohead)

  • Yes, shame really.

Still brillaint though, the ned of the movie moves me everytime..61...sixteee.twwoooo..sixtiy fiveee..
