  • In all my years of teaching Excel, this is the hardest concept for people to learn. Nevertheless, I have a few videos titles on this topic. Watch them in this order (see next comment):

  • Excel Basics #8: Cell References Relative & Absolute

Excel Basics #9: Mixed Cell References in Formulas

Excel Basics #11: Spreadsheet Setup & Cell References

Highline Excel Class 03: Names, Cell References, Formula Inputs

Excel Magic Trick #30 Part 1: Concept: Mixed Cell References

Excel Magic Trick #30 Part 2: Concept: Mixed Cell References

Dear Mike, I guess I'm a baby einstein cause I can understand Mixed cell references much better now, almost no mistakes when I try them. Thanks for your wonderful lessons!

I find that the hardest thing, for me at least is how to use all we already know and to put together the "puzzle". Sometimes the solution is simple yet difficult to find. Imagination is a great asset to work with excel.

    have a good night! :-)

  • You are a smart Exceler - baby einstein - a wise Exceler! Yes, using your imagination to put the puzzle together is the key. It is also what makes Excel so much fun!

  • scenarios. wow.

  • Dear slaves2sin,
