Well I just finished the tam on the Bond Incredible. The finishing part was a bit of a challenge, however, it does not look bad at all. The only problem is that ribbed edge is a bit large around the head. My next one will require me using less than 92 stitches. Thanks so much for your videos. All of us machine knitters learn so much! I might try knitting it on my Silver Reed LK150 or my Bond Elite.
The tam was knitted on a Brother 270, which is the same bed and needles as a Brother 260. You can use this pattern with your 260 with no changes at all.
hi diana please can you help me i have a brother kh260 and would like to make this tam for my kids and some adults do you have any patterns for my machine? thank you for all your great videos i have learn so much from them.
It is very worthwhile to learn to Kitchener stitch invisible seams. In this case, Kitchener gives a beautiful, undetectable seam in the hat. It's actually less trouble than rehanging, etc.
Great pattern, you know Diana you didn't need to Kitchener stitch the hat together you could of just taken it off on waste yarn like you did turned it around so the right side is facing you rehang it on the needles, push them behind the latches and then pick up the other side that is on waste yarn rehang that in the hooks so the right sides are together then push the needle buts back so they knit off then bind of using back stitch. Basically the way you join a shoulder seam.
I am getting this book immediatelly together with DVDs. Could you recommend me more usefull books or DVDs that will be usefull for my machines: Brother KH 260 and KH 830 with ribber KR 830 - I never managed to start ribbing - I have to do something wrongly with setting the ribber, since some needles are skipped while working:-(. Machine knitting is not popular in Poland so I have no chance to get any help localy. I am very glad I found you movies. Thanks a lot for all you'va done!
thanks a lot for your videos. They are excelent. I am very beginner and self learner, but thanks to your lessons I managed to make 2 of such tams withing 2 evenings. My tams are good for my 6 years old daughter. Yours looks like for adults. I did it on brother KH-260 and used yarn sutable for neddles 3,5-4, so middle thickness, I would say. Could you pleae advise how to get adult size on my machine? Thanks in advance for any hints. My very best regards, Agnieszka

I have worked out four sizes in my book, "The Goldilocks Challenge," which is available at my blog diananatters.blogspot.com.
In addition, i have a standard gauge tam over at the blog.
