Just played it...its not bad its just painfully mediocre. The it seems like the developers haven't actually played the game at all but have seen silent footage of the original game.

It lacks character which the original had in spade. The sound is dreadful too, terrible voice acting and awful music. The original had an excellent "British" feel to it , this feels like a cheap Russian iPhone game.

Computer games used to be challenging and fun. These days most games seem to be written for 3 year old retards with heavy ADD with no knowledge or intellect past MTV and pop-culture.

Consoles (and their users) have ruined gaming and reduced almost every game to QTE-fests for the lowest common denominator.

Graphics looks like it's from the 90s. Tbh it looks like exactly the kind of console fluff I was referring to. All subjective impressions from YT vids tho.

My personal preference however, is that millitary simulators are not fun games to play, they revolve around realistic depictions and simulations of murder, which I don't enjoy. @xxMrFablexx - Oblivion was so incredibly crappy that even with a masterpiece like Morrowind and an above average game like Skyrim, the average between these 3 games still is an incredible shitfest. If Morrowind was a 10 and Skyrim is a 6 or 7, Oblivion is a negative three hundred.

Also both my videos mock Skyrim, they are examples of things that suck with the game.

@facepalmization Care to explain what was so "ruined" about them? I have Daggerfall (DOSbox), Morrowind GOTY (FTW), Oblivion GOTY(never played and probably never will since I have the previous two), and I've had Fallout 3 GOTY (was actually pretty good).

Out of curiosity, I'd like to hear from everyone what's wrong with computer games today and how classics got ruined. Feel free to use Resident Evil as an example. >.>

The "ruined" part for me is the fact that they remove the remakes too far from the original classics, very good childhood gaming memories for those of us who have been gamers for three decades now, are reduced to generic consolified crap that requires no brain activity what so ever.

Those games used to be challenging, there used to be quests where you actually had to think and use your brain beyond extremely simple button-puzzles. Nowadays ES games are reduced to "follow the map marker" and fast traveling everywhere. Syndicate is turning in to yet another generic FPS shooter. And don't even get me started on UFO...

Then recall new RE, which are nothing more but another action shooter, where only scary thing is whether you'll eat all your chips/popcorn/whatever-you-hav­e-to-eat or if you'll finish the game.

@TheTechBrain NO they didnt. cannon fodder 3 is legend already and not a myth..they didnt do nuttin to CF 1+2. if sensible software/codemasters/whatever made a CF3 in time, GFI wouldnt be making the cannon fodder 3 in the first place. They were asleep at the wheel, only that is why CF 3 was/ is made. CF3 is by name, a tribute to the legendaric Cannon Fodder 1+2, if ya cant se that..You can go back and play cannon fodder 1+2 to feel legendaric tho. It's never really ruined.
