There are NO errors in the Quran. People just like to twist meanings and make up their own interpretations as to what the verse means, if there is ambiguity about a verse then there are explanations from the Prophet (pbuh) explaining whatever he needed to in the hadiths.
And if there is scientific proof to contradict the Quran then i tell you it is science that has erred as it does on a regular basis, so we can't judge an inerrant book with an errant man made theory.

Also, in Sura 18 Al-Kahf verse 86 it says that sun sets in a spring of murky water (I guess they agreed that murky would be best since clear water wouldn't make sense to why it's dark at night - the light would shine through). But we know that the sun orbits the earth.
I don't quite understand your first question. You're second question is an excerpt from a passage of story about Dhul-Qarnain. Things won't make sense if you read 6 words of a story would it? I recommend you read the story to have a better understanding. It is not literally saying sun sets in murky water, but rather what Dhul-Qarnain saw.

its not that what he sees is questionable. The words are illustrative, to help depict what is seen and how it felt.
For your question about how the mountains are pegged, I explained in my video... unfortunately I did not spend excessive time explaining geology, but you should understand the concept of plates and mountains. i'd recommend looking this up, but in short, plates are not pegged, they are mobile.

There is a vers in Quran where it is stated that moon and sun float on an orbit (36, 40). This is tholemaic but not scientific.....the sun doesn't float on a orbit as the moon does.

It is my belief that every single thing written in the noble Quran is written for a reason. I believe that most of the things mentioned in the Quran are not just knowledge of Ghaib but they are practical knowledge and are hinted there for us to investigate, find out and explore.
You see what our problem is? We Muslims think everything written in the Quran is "the knowledge of Ghaib" so we never bother investigating it. Take for example expansion of the universe mentioned in the Quran, we thought it's the knowledge of the Ghaib so we never bothered with it until they found out that universe is indeed expanding. In many places in Quran God says that he is "Rab-ul-alameen" the creator of all worlds, not just this world. Alam means world and alameen means more than one world, multiple worlds. Here is something mentioned in Quran we still don't know for sure if other worlds other than our own exist out there in space and yet it is still in the Quran. There is nothing vague about; it is crystal clear that there are other worlds created by him. Now it is up to us to go find those worlds, if we know how.
In one of the verses, we are informed that the mountains are not motionless as they seem but that they are in constant motion:

The reason why Jesus is called the only begotton is because he was born of a woman. Adam is the son of God because God breathed into Adam the "breath" of life. The power of God, the "Holy Spirit" overshadowed Maryam (Mary) and she conceived in her womb and gave birth to Jesus.

I studied the Quran and believe that it says God created Jesus in Mary's womb. Allah claims, " It is not hard for me..." Jesus is a holy son born of the virgin Mary (Maryam), and God was responsible. He is the Son's Father. Not by sex as we know, but by the will of God.

If Islam is wrong than He was the most successful Prophet of all time. This is why I am wondering what Islam says of Jesus, and what He said that they actually believe.

And if there is scientific proof to contradict the Quran then i tell you it is science that has erred as it does on a regular basis, so we can't judge an inerrant book with an errant man made theory.

You mention that mountains have pegs to keep the earth from shaking. But if these mountains are "pegged" into the same plates that are ever slowly moving, then how are they doing their job? Why does it say the earth is "level"?
Also, in Sura 18 Al-Kahf verse 86 it says that sun sets in a spring of murky water (I guess they agreed that murky would be best since clear water wouldn't make sense to why it's dark at night - the light would shine through). But we know that the sun orbits the earth.

I don't quite understand your first question. You're second question is an excerpt from a passage of story about Dhul-Qarnain. Things won't make sense if you read 6 words of a story would it? I recommend you read the story to have a better understanding. It is not literally saying sun sets in murky water, but rather what Dhul-Qarnain saw.

Actually i read the whole chapter. You say that it does not say that the sun was literally setting in murky water, but that it was what he saw. Ok fine. But then we can agree that everything this man "sees" is questionable (if not how he thinks as well).
As for my frist question, all i was asking is how do the mountains keep us from shaking if they are simply pegged to a plate that can itself shake. Are the plates pegged too? Also, why does it use the term "level"?

its not that what he sees is questionable. The words are illustrative, to help depict what is seen and how it felt.
For your question about how the mountains are pegged, I explained in my video... unfortunately I did not spend excessive time explaining geology, but you should understand the concept of plates and mountains. i'd recommend looking this up, but in short, plates are not pegged, they are mobile.

I find it strange that Muslims feel they have the exclusive right to define the Christian scriptures but when the Quran is questioned, Muslims downplay those arguments as if only they know what they are reading.
Even Arabic speakers examine the Arabic Quran and come to the same conclusions. Its not a matter of transliteration issues into english.

I think Muslims and Christians who are well grounded in their own religions and who honestly examine the Quran and New Testament (Injil) can to some extent discuss what they dont understand as well as what they do understand and how to apply it to discussion between what is and what is not practical within both sacred texts.
But yes, you are right, there are many who say crazy things about Muslims and against the Quran but the same is true of Muslims saying crazy things about Christianity.

There is a vers in Quran where it is stated that moon and sun float on an orbit (36, 40). This is tholemaic but not scientific.....the sun doesn't float on a orbit as the moon does.
Even in 23, 12-14 I read nothing about a ovula-cell.

Also the mantle is molten; therefore, like your picture shows the mountains are not fixed in place. They shake and 'sway' during earthquakes just like everything else. if the quran isnt 100% right, its 100% wrong.

wow, you are misinformed. The edges of the plates are pressed against each other, that is where the friction is made. When the plates slip a earthquake occurs. You obvioulsy didnt read the quran, because it is wrong. A mountain does sway and shake during an earthquake, and mountains do not prevent the plates from moving. try harder next time, but you cant put the ol muslim spin on this topic.

zeolites? they are pourous and hard. they break under strain, they dont absorb it. On top of that, they dont even represent a major component of any given mountain. Granite and sediment are FAR more common.

iron is of one the most abundant elements in the universe, hence it is common on earth. The core of the earth is mostly iron, that is not from meteorites. The earths crust is 5% iron, most of which is several hundred feet down in moutntians, ie the majority of it could not have came from meteorites.

first of all the quran never says that mountains prevent earth quakes, infact the word for earth quake 'zelzal' isnt even used in the verse, the quran says moutainas r there so that the earth doesnt move with u, and this is scinetifically true, the formation of mountains hav considerably slowed down tectonic movement, with out the mountians the tectonics would drift far more fluidly, this occured 15 million years ago when all the contents were attached, the easily drifted apart but once mountian

They aborsb heat/cold and filter water, but they do not absorb pressure at all, and are crytaline making them even worse than rock at stability. that is poor account of moutain building, and doesnt change that they are not stabilzers. Take for example expansion of the universe mentioned in the Quran, we thought it's the knowledge of the Ghaib so we never bothered with it until they found out that universe is indeed expanding. If we keep that up we will never find out about multiple universes having multiple dimensions and about other worlds, and other creations mentioned in the Quran.

In many places in Quran God says that he is "Rab-ul-alameen" the creator of all worlds, not just this world. Alam means world and alameen means more than one world, multiple worlds. Here is something mentioned in Quran we still don't know for sure if other worlds other than our own exist out there in space and yet it is still in the Quran. There is nothing vague about; it is crystal clear that there are other worlds created by him. Now it is up to us to go find those worlds, if we know how.

1. The Quran said that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was Aaron's sister. Funny though Aaron lived some 1400 years before Mary.
2. The Quran says that one angel spoke to Mary but Muhammad couldn't remember what he said earlier so in another place he says it was several angles.

rookam, i spoke to my roommate who is fluent in arabic. he did not mention the word ostrich or bird or anything. the word means "spread out" as in "expand". you can try twisting the translation all you want, but it wont make your argument true.

The reason why Jesus is called the only begotton is because he was born of a woman. Adam is the son of God because God breathed into Adam the "breath" of life. The power of God, the "Holy Spirit" overshadowed Maryam (Mary) and she conceived in her womb and gave birth to Jesus.

I studied the Quran and believe that it says God created Jesus in Mary's womb. Allah claims, " It is not hard for me..." Jesus is a holy son born of the virgin Mary (Maryam), and God was responsible. The problem here is that if Islam is to be correct, Jesus was the most ineffective prophet of all time because everyone believed, even his enemies (the jewish priests) that He said He came to die for the sin of the world. In muslim countries, if you openly express another religion you are punished, including death. If you are carrying a Bible it is an offense. If you disagree with the Quran or the prophet Muhammand it is death. When satire was published whole population centers burned flags, destroyed property and screamed for death to the infidels. yup. not saying that some muslim countries aren't oppressive and have problems (but most countries have plenty of problems). Malaysia is a muslim country that runs under sharia law for the most part, but have a large population of freely practicing christians.
i went to pakistan and saw a huge church there and plenty of christians around.
