how do you sync the evolver with the er-1, is the er-1 controlling the evolver?.. sorry if this question has been asked before

Is there a store that'll just let you come in and screw around with these things? I'm curious how to use them.

maybe,youll have to find a store near to you,and see if they have any electribes on demo,then get the store owner to give you a demo.

if the music stor is any good,they will be cool an allow you to "try before you buy"

just go to your local music store and they maybe have some electribes set-up, though i notice that my local store that i purchased my esx/emx off no longer stock them, the easiest thing to do would be to download the free copy of rebirth thats available off propellarhead software, that way you can see how sequencing sounds works, if thats too easy, then scour ebay, for secondhand electribes, ebay = musicians bestfriend...!

If you have any interest in them. just get one, i promise you wont be disaspointed. Just dont get one with all the factory settings deleted!!!

probably, the evolver has audio in.

no I meant attach attach, like so they are physically connected. probably not, but it almost looks that way especially considering that the cables in the back of the rmk should be in the way of placing the evolver so closer. but it looks like he may have just raised the evolver up over the cables in the back.

Yes they are, look at 1:35. The ER sends a pause MIDI message to the evolver.
