Watched this in person on the day !!! Mesmorising but just for information the car was running VERY low boost compared with full race boost it would have in the day and the driver was being respectfully cautious due to the cars value and historic importance. Hopefully we will see it in full anger on a circuit sometime !

I want there to be turbo engines in F1 again. Let's wait and see if they go through with it for 2013. Imagine anti-lag on these beasts, wow, anyone who knows enough about mechanics and engines can appreciate all the features these cars had. They were downright ingenious, like the vacuum valve to keep the turbo spooled, fucking brilliant.

You are right, because in full power this renault 1.5 engine produces almost 800 brake hp...thats just...awesome
