actually i recorded me playing crysis at 1400x900 maxed out but i saved it wrong and it looked like crap when i finished saving it. just because the video doesn't look nice, it doesn't mean that the original wasn't high quality.

If want to save for a card you might not get full use out of it, then by all means. I have a 24" monitor. I don't play many games so max performance at 1920x1200 doesn't mean that much to me. I got the HD4670 because I can run games at default settings and they run just fine. I don't play FPS or point and click games. Even at $160 the HD4850 is NOT needed unless you game on a regular basis with a big monitor . The HD4670 perfect up to 1600x1200 and will play games at 1920x1200....

the 4870 is 2 times more powerful then the 4670 ... if u are on a buget the 4670 is ur solution it runs every game very good ... i have one ... but if u want more punch buy the 4850 or 4870 ... two 4670 is as powerful ase one 4850
