Bush's dimwitted mishandling of the nation is what allowed the last remaining Whiteboys-only club in the country, to go to a rookie Black liberal. NEVER forget that.
@ImmortalSynn Your last paragraph only proves 2 things. 1. You were part of the masses of nitwit Americans in this country who voted for Obama, he became president more because of the color of his skin rather then actually being qualified to be president. 2. You got the last part semi right. Country is headed at the moment by a half black rookie liberal. True true, and it's why the country is being flushed down the drain by a man who spends money so fast he can't wait to see the dollar collapse
@ImmortalSynn "AS IF having dark skin has *ever* been the key to success in America!" LOL Exactly !! thank you for only proving my point further. Did you ever stop to listen to Oprah and many others like her rally countless people to vote for Obama. All these people talked about was, first half black man in office. Thats ALL we heard about!! Think about it seriously. Lastly, yes it's not they KEY to success in America, part way the country is falling apart. Obama has no clue!!
None of that makes any sense as per your argument. Blks only make up 13% of the US populace, and an even smaller percent of the voting population. Even if every Black and Hispanic who voted chose Obama (and contrary to Rightist lore, that's not what happened), he still would've needed well over 30% White vote
So you HONESTLY think that 1 in 3 Whites were suddenly struck by some unexplainable hankering for a darker President, above all other issues? Get real
@AirCargoHeavy Fuck You! republicans don't give a shit about the middle class. they want to get money and have sex. Obama tries, but you stupid ass republicans just dont want to see a BLACK man in the WHITE house

@Gtjg88 Dude, no offense...but you got a lot of Republicans on Fox like O'Reilly and Hannity that are giving all Republicans a bad name. I know (they) say they are not Republicans but.....come on.....we know that's just another lie on their long list of lies.

You should pay attention and don't dismiss facts, it will help you vote for what it's best for YOU as a person, not for an ideology that doesn't work or help YOU in your particular situation.
@ghilliemann Do you even know what liberalism is? You're probably just brainwashed and listen to Fox News and Glenn Beck and don't get any information from anywhere else.
@ImmortalSynn Well if you watch it to keep tabs on the Gestapo it's one thing but this is really the lowest form of "journalism" if it could even be called that.
Everything that comes out of Fox News is propaganda. I watch it now and then just to get my blood pressure up, and they call it the "no spin zone" OMG, I just think im going to puke
Why not just agree to disagree? Things have progressively gotten worse since this nation started. It's called greed. Everyone has it and it will never go away. Nobody is content with what they have. Always wanting more than the other guy has. We're not doomed, just controlled.
...this post makes no sense. You open with an indirect ridicule of one by insinuating that his show's not "on," yet two sentences later, reveal that you realize his show indeed still airs.
If "you moved stations" is about the worst you can say, then again, what was the point of saying even anything at all? Genuinely curious.
So what if he DID say insurance executives where bad people? They FUCKING ARE! They're monsters who make their profits over the back of the sick and needy.
It's like saying. 'Oh Prescott Bush wasn't a bad people because he made mining deals with the nazi's during wartime, about mines where they used concentration camp workers, he just wanted to make a profit!'
Doesn't matter how much you'd like something to have been said, or even if it would've been true if said... fact is, you can't falsify someone's statement and be taken seriously.
@TheSkunkCat Yes, George Herbert Walker and Prescott Bush were trading with the enemy while Poppie was training to fight in WWII. Have you ever seen a finer example of Republican family values?
Here's an idea.... We've had two presidents, both republican and democrat, yet, nothing has changed and has progressively gotten worse. When will people realize that they're voting for the same platform and same policies? Both parties have it wrong, I say we vote someone in whose ideas are strongly invested in the roots of this country. Perhaps, Ron Paul? Oh wait, I forgot. Personal liberty, sound money, a free market, and the constitution are crazy things nowadays... So much for the revolution.
Grammatically speaking you could interpret what he said to mean "They are bad people, but it's not because of their "badness that...", although it's clear from the context that that's not what he meant. Although I have to say that I have these sorts of misinterpretations with my conservative friend all the time. Our brains just pickup on different things. Interestingly, my friend is very good at spinning anything in any direction too.
1) your idiocy was posted, just like all the other right wing opinions here.
2) free speech is against congressional persecution in a PUBLIC venue... it does not, nor has it ever applied to a PRIVATE thread, on a PRIVATE forum, by a PRIVATE individual.
if there ever were a justification for bullying others, hannity would be it!!! i'd love to steal his lunch and throw him down and tell him things about his mother ... know what 'm sayin'?
@UDSS it is unfriedly to the workers. And by "workers" I mean stoners who sit on ther asses all day smoking pot. It is worker friendly to the workers. If you don't work, you fail. Social Darwinism and survival of the fittest. Captialism is about working for your meal, making it taste that much better. Everything is better when you know you earned it. Capitalism is about earning things, not having the government spoon feed it to you
The problem with your assessment is that it applies to the middle class, not the highest 2% of the population, many of whom gain the majority of their income not from working, but from interest/capital gain. And THAT has been the point of contention for so many as of late: those who aren't working, are doing all the gaining, whereas the middle class is stagnating currently, and essentially losing ground over the last three decades.
@ImmortalSynn Government regulation allows for corporatism. In a truly free market society things like the federal reserve and bailouts would never occur.
"In a truly free market society things like the federal reserve and bailouts would never occur."
Of course not. Because a TRULY free market allows monopoly/oligopoly over both productions and means, as anti-trust legislation would not exist to stop it. Who needs a bailout when you control all means/production?? lol
@SkylitDriveFan123 Hey man,you got any papers? Man,this steak I worked so hard for today is as tough as the one I had at the homeless shelter.And to think I bought this one with my welfare check when I could have spent it on more dope.Joke's on me,I guess.
Get real. Capitalism is the most accurate reflection of mammalian nature. No mammal gives a damn about the welfare of anything other than itself, its mate, its offspring, and sometimes its immediate blood relatives. Capitalistic tendencies reflect that
@ImmortalSynn actually when capitalism was first implemented as a system the most common objection was that it was "against human nature." The thing that differentiates us from other mammals is that we can care about other people. It's just that people are so indoctrinated into this system that they think it's the only thing possible
@SoDamTuf Yes and when you're out looking for a job in the poor ghetto section of town, don't expect to find one .. You know, you lefties are real,morons.. You just don't understand..
jewish defender give your ego a massage so what your educated the worlds full of death and misery because educated people causing the problems well not all educated but a majority anyway every news channel on the planet is owned by the corrupt government we only know what they want us to know
jewishdefensder just because you can spell doesnt mean your a better person the problems caused in this world is educated taking advantage of uneducated people give your ego a massage you get what the person mean just because its not to your specification doesnt mean your god you should get a job with the corrupt british and american government they like takin advantage of people aswell ps fox news bbc news all liars all news companies are
Inquiry: Who taught the world's first writers how to write?
Inquiry: Who taught the world's first professors?
Inquiry: If you made the rules, could you change them?
Inquiry: Does zero equal zero, and one equal one, because the world's first mathematicians said they do? Or because there is an actual universal concept of a NUMBER?
The Systems in Use today are used like the Rule-sets of Games. We can change them by amending and suffixing theoretical corrections to the first set.
@james7167 it's not the educated taking advantage of the uneducated. It's the rich taking advantage of the poor. There are plenty of uneducated rich people and educated poor people in contrast. Just look at fox, plenty of uneducated morons taking advantage of poor idiots convincing them to vote against their interests.
It really shouldn't come as a surprise that Hannity lied. He lies all the time. The fact his hero (oliver North) is a criminal who lied under oath explains a lot.
He did call them bad people. Why is it this ass clown only reports on Fox. It seems like all his storys are about Fox. Can he actually report the news?
Sure, and while I'm doing that, perhaps you might want to familiarize yourself with the contrast between the role of a reporter and an analytical COMMENTATOR.
One is paid to present news in as unbiased a fashion as possible. The other is paid to give their personal opinion/assessment on something. Not very difficult concept here..........
@ImmortalSynn I never said he wasn't a commentator jack ass. But he is a reporter as well which you said he wasn't don't cover your mistakes with more inaccuracies. You are a dipshit that can't read or listen for that matter.
@ImmortalSynn Then why did he lie so blatantly? It's not the first time. Commentators give opinions an facts, not made up rubbish. Hannity and the rest of the clowns on Fox News are a joke.
Hannity hates and he gets rich hating! I am a republican but i know a spin doctor when i see one! I believe in the republican party but we are allowing Hannity and others to create a very bad image of our party! I will fight to make people like bill to leave or shut the %^*& up!
An ongoing laugh fest about the most ridiculous non-news channel in the world. If this is the best they can do to conceal their more than apparent agenda, I wouldn't want them or any of their henchmen in charge of the country.
PLEASE TELL ME WHERE IM WRONG. Obama kinda said that "they are bad people but they do these things because they are profitable" didnt he? BTW i dont like fox at all but isnt that way that line can be easily interperted.
@henrim93 PLEASE grow a brain. He specifically said "Insurance executives don't do this because they're bad people" - (though I might well find cases to disagree with even that). Don't bother refuting that - it's yours and Hannity's own consciences that need to "refute" that...
Strictly speaking the phrasing was ambiguous. He didn't say they aren't bad people. He just said that being bad people isn't why they make those decisions. It could be interpreted either way but is ultimately ambiguous and says nothing about whether they're bad or not.
Obama's tone implied they were not bad, but he didn't say one way or the other. So Hannity is wrong to say Obama said they are bad, and Holderman may be right to call him on it, but he's not right to say that Obama said the opposite.
Obama implies that insurance companies screw over their customers to make a buck and Hannity was right in pointing that out. There is nothing stupid or corrupt or immoral in saying that. Hannity is not worse than Keith Olberman just because he advances a political ideology before the facts, as this is equally true of anyone who is willing and able to get a network pundit position. This is just more left-right bullshit. Who gives a shit?
@ImmortalSynn Um, um um umm ummmmmhhh, that's what the video was all about. Roughly quoted "Obama said that insurance moguls are bad people". It's funny too that Barack would say that being that the insurance industry is only able to fuck over it's customers because the state grants them so many privileges. The implication being that the state creates a horrible situation and then blames the people who profit from it. I can go on if you like.
@ImmortalSynn This is kind of silly, but here you are. 0:06 when Obama implies that Insurance agencies are corrupt. And Hannity at 0:36. Those were the quotes to which I was referring. I feel silly doing this because that's the whole subject of the video. (Those two time stamps.) It's more like what else could I possibly be talking about? All Hannity said was that Obama said insurance moguls were bad people. Hannity is not arguing semantics here, nor have I ever seen him do that.
@ImmortalSynn I pointed out the time stamps and you still dismiss it without argument. You just accuse me of some vague mental deficiency. I have watched Hannity before. Maybe not as much as you have, could you provide a time stamp? ;)
Just tell me how I'm wrong. I gave you my argument. Now time for a rebuttal instead of ridiculous character assassinations. How did Hannity not correctly point out that Obama was implying that medical insurance moguls are bad people? Is it that hard?
"I pointed out the time stamps and you still dismiss it without argument."
What do you want me to argue, it SHOULD be obvious. You point to a time when Obama says price goes up, quality goes down, and cite that as evidence of corruption (it's not, try pointing to any law being broken) and then you claim thirty seconds later that Hannity is pointing to that as some manner of "gotcha" moment when in his idiocy he actually got the statement backward.
@ImmortalSynn "you're inventing interpretations that aren't there?", and the rambling stuff. Both totally vague and insulting my intelligence and/or sensitivities. I'm not complaining. I'm simply pointing out the fact that you insist on not actually putting any arguments forward. Just this "it SHOULD be obvious" which is all the more reason you should help me out. If I'm that stupid then I would surely benefit from pointing out how I'm wrong.
@blapgatify When parents punish their children and say "I don't do this because I want to", is the implication that they DO want to punish their children? Or is it that they don't want to punish their children? It's the exact same structure as the sentence President Obama was using, so I am inclined to conclude that he was implying that the insurance moguls are NOT bad people, as the apparent majority here also concluded.
@ImmortalSynn The most amusing part is that Hannity was in fact implying Obama was saying they are bad people from the way Obama said what he said. The fact is, he could only imply it if what the insurance companies was doing was actually corrupt therefore making them bad people. So Hannity himself believes that they are bad people. When Obama was actually saying "Hey look, they're a for profit business, in it for the money. What they do makes sense for who they are, bad or good."
hannity is such an over the top puppet, reinforcing the bullshit propaganda, brainwashing pantomime we've been fed through mass media. absolute scumbag
They don't expect the "general populace" to believe them at face value. They just expect the so-called "conservatives" who watch them to take their word at face value. And the are right. :(
Not sure if it's Hannity being guilty of lying as much as it is just being wrong. Remember what George Costanza said, "It's not a lie if you believe it"
Are you dim, or just too illiterate to notice that all manner of opinion, both Liberal and Conservative, are clearly expressed here. Even your inane babble has already gotten through.
Ridiculous amounts of cursing and spam, are the only things blocked. If you don't like it, then you're of course welcome to visit the thousands of other threads that are full loaded with both.
If I didn't "notice that all manner of opinion, both Liberal and Conservative, are clearly expressed here" how would that make me illiterate? If all responses are allowed, why have Comment Pending Approval enabled, moron? Why not just delete the comments that you don't like?
Well, THAT certainly answers my question... you're just friggin' illiterate. The answer's RIGHT THERE, and you're either too dumb or too dim to read it. Wow.
Actually, in your (rather weak) attempt to gauge my familiarity with the word, you only succeeded in further demonstrating your own ignorance vis-a-vis that very subject.
Newsflash genius: illiteracy doesn't just indicate whether or not someone has the ability to read words.
il·lit·er·ate [ih-lit-er-it] Show IPA
adjective
1.unable to read and write: an illiterate group.
2.having or demonstrating very little or no education.
@JewishDefender , why don't you pay a visit to the videos posted by dlwke2? He only approve conservative comments. All other comments are not posted and deleted. Cowardice, is a two way street.
There's a famous saying credited to H.L. Mencken. He said, "Nobody ever went broke by underestimating the intelligence of the American public.". The success of Fox News is proof that he was right. Rupert Murdoch knows America is full of people who prefer falsehoods that validate their prejudices, to truth that proves them wrong. For Fox News, truth is always an option, but often an inconvenience. Their loyal "sheep" will always forgive & defend their lack of integrity.
@Maadblunts1218 Retarded?? This is something he has discussed himself. He has never one time been a part of the workforce, PERIOD!!!!! But he HAS done quite a lot to destroy it.
@DARELLCANUP You just told a bald faced lie yourself by claiming Obama "has never at one time been a part of the workforce,PERIOD!!!!"... No wonder you identify so much with Hypocrite Hannity. You like to lie to make your points just like he does. You've blown your credibility before you've even begun.
@jjrraymond I love that you are trying to be fair sided but it's funny cuz u have such a raging hard on for Sean "the liar" Hannity that u insist on calling him "Mr. Hannity, as if some part of your queer dominatrix fantasy, but u don't have the decency to call the president of our country by his proper title, which is President Obama. Stop trying to hide your bias. And btw, hannity, got caught in a obvious lie per usual. And also don't try to use big words to try to sway peoples opinions, anyo
@Maadblunts1218 I can give you 5 bald face lies that Obama has told on several clips that are as easy to find as a click of the mouse, for every one you can find that Hannity told. Obama's entire campaign was based on "the first thing I will do when I get in office is bring the troops home, they will be home in 6 months", and "I will fix this economy by dec of next year (which would have been 2010) or I won't deserve another 4 years". Those are HIS words, and both are LIES!!!
"I can give you 5 bald face lies that Obama has told on several clips that are as easy to find as a click of the mouse, for every one you can find that Hannity told."
I'd be amused to take that bet, let's begin.
You have this lie shown here, as well as his shameless attempt to make a Tea rally look far bigger than it was by switching tapes, that Jon Stewart busted him on.
Now it's your turn, you owe me 10. Let's see if you can be even REMOTELY accurate. Go.
@DARELLCANUP Don't take his bet. You already had to resort to pre-presidency remarks. The truth is the day they become presidents they're handed new information they never knew until becoming president which changes things significantly. That's why EVERY president's presidency differs from what they plan to accomplish while campaigning. Bush's Iraq War IS over. They don't pack them all up in one night and leave though. Now they're headed elsewhere because THAT'S WHAT SOLDIERS DO.
It's always about ratings for Fox. If the far-right won every election and controlled everything, they would have no reason to exist. Like their viewers, it's all about the COMPLAINING and the SCARING. Hell, even their own viewers know they are not getting the truth. It's all about the show. That's why Beck was dumped. No ratings.
Our nation needs to change it's priorities, and who better to SCARE than the elderly Fox viewer that sits at home frightened that a black guy was elected president.
Beck's ratings were actually quite high; but it meant nothing, because advertisers didn't want to associate with him, as he got more and more radical.
Hell, I remember he lost nearly 40% of his advertisers in the 3rd Quarter of 2009 alone: huge names too, like Geico, Walmart, Progressive, Proctor&Gamble, etc.
@ImmortalSynn Yeah, he was screaming doom and gloom lol, why would you want to buy anything but gold and weapons if you watched his show? Things that will exist in the next 3 years would mean nothing according to Beck. Support Israel and wait for the terrorists LOL!!!!! This is America....right? But he's got a snug spot, Limbaugh has to be retiring or close to death, Capitalism works this way. I feel sorry for the morons that hate him AND the morons that follow him (Glenn Beck)
@ImmortalSynn Your right his ratings were high enough to compete, but at the time he was fired they had dropped 30% from his peak. That coupled with, as you stated, advertisers no longer wishing to associate with him made it a no brainer to cut him loose.
"That's why Beck was dumped. No ratings." Typical liberal, whine about Fox being liars while lying yourself.
Glenn has increased the ratings of the 5pm time slot at Fox by 131% compared to the programming airing before his start. In case you don’t know how to read percentages, that’s doubling the ratings, plus another 31%.
Even if that's the case and those numbers are truly accurate (no real desire to doublecheck them myself)... what's it matter? His ratings could not translate to sufficient income, so he was dropped.
Who cares. Either way, insurance executives ARE bad people. Both Hannity AND Obama lied. LOL. Doing something merely for the sake of profit is definitely not good. Doing something that affects the access to affordable health care for the sake of profit is DEFINITELY BAD.
@dawimythnotolo President Obama never said they weren't bad people he said they are not doing it because they are bad people. bad or good they would still do it.
I love how everyone at Fox News is either an uneducated moron like Sean Hannity or a hypocritical dumbass like Bill O'Reilly who claims he's for the working class when in reality he's the bitch of every rich republican in America
It is interesting and telling that there is someone on Youtube who posted videos of people like Michelle Malkin supposedly giving the smack down to her liberal opponents and he/she only approved pro-conservative comments.
S. Hannity is a Zionist prostitute.

Capitalism is about earning things, not having the government spoon feed it to you
SkylitDriveFan123 3 weeks ago
@SkylitDriveFan123

Strictly speaking the phrasing was ambiguous. He didn't say they aren't bad people. He just said that being bad people isn't why they make those decisions. It could be interpreted either way but is ultimately ambiguous and says nothing about whether they're bad or not.
WalterLiddy 1 month ago
@WalterLiddy: Precisely.
Obama's tone implied they were not bad, but he didn't say one way or the other. So Hannity is wrong to say Obama said they are bad, and Holderman may be right to call him on it, but he's not right to say that Obama said the opposite.

"Hannity was right in pointing that out."
Um, when'd he do that? Time stamp in the video please...
ImmortalSynn 1 month ago
@ImmortalSynn Um, um um umm ummmmmhhh, that's what the video was all about. Roughly quoted "Obama said that insurance moguls are bad people". It's funny too that Barack would say that being that the insurance industry is only able to fuck over it's customers because the state grants them so many privileges. The implication being that the state creates a horrible situation and then blames the people who profit from it. I can go on if you like.
blapgatify 1 month ago
@blapgatify
"I can go on if you like."
No need, because you failed to answer my question in *that* rambling. You can't point to a specific time stamp in the video, because there wasn't one.
Hannity didn't point that out, all he did was (erratically) quibble about Obama's semantics, not the content of his speech.
ImmortalSynn 1 month ago
@ImmortalSynn This is kind of silly, but here you are. 0:06 when Obama implies that Insurance agencies are corrupt. And Hannity at 0:36. Those were the quotes to which I was referring. I feel silly doing this because that's the whole subject of the video. (Those two time stamps.) It's more like what else could I possibly be talking about? All Hannity said was that Obama said insurance moguls were bad people. Hannity is not arguing semantics here, nor have I ever seen him do that.
blapgatify 1 month ago
@blapgatify
"I feel silly doing this"
Because you're inventing interpretations that aren't there? Indeed, you should.

blapgatify 1 month ago
@blapgatify
ImmortalSynn 1 month ago
@blapgatify

ImmortalSynn 1 month ago
@ImmortalSynn "you're inventing interpretations that aren't there?", and the rambling stuff. Both totally vague and insulting my intelligence and/or sensitivities. I'm not complaining. I'm simply pointing out the fact that you insist on not actually putting any arguments forward. Just this "it SHOULD be obvious" which is all the more reason you should help me out. If I'm that stupid then I would surely benefit from pointing out how I'm wrong.
blapgatify 1 month ago
@blapgatify When parents punish their children and say "I don't do this because I want to", is the implication that they DO want to punish their children? Or is it that they don't want to punish their children? It's the exact same structure as the sentence President Obama was using, so I am inclined to conclude that he was implying that the insurance moguls are NOT bad people, as the apparent majority here also concluded.
awfuldynne 1 month ago
@awfuldynne
Great analogy!
ImmortalSynn 1 month ago
@ImmortalSynn The most amusing part is that Hannity was in fact implying Obama was saying they are bad people from the way Obama said what he said. The fact is, he could only imply it if what the insurance companies was doing was actually corrupt therefore making them bad people. So Hannity himself believes that they are bad people. When Obama was actually saying "Hey look, they're a for profit business, in it for the money. What they do makes sense for who they are, bad or good."
