Wow. How can one person change so much in 9 months? His movie was good but I've lost a great deal of respect for him because of Californication. I stopped watching it when the young daughters got so sexual and started saying filthy words all the time. Children, actors or not, are children. I just couldn't take it any more. Thinking back, I realize he usually would bring up something sexual to shock people with so I'm done.

I've never understood why this movie got bad reviews. Never. It was so sweet and touched my heart. That he did it all is impressive. It wasn't Oscar material but it was very good and David should have gotten many more kudos than it got. Probably why I don't care for critics and their excessive power offends me. This movie got left behind and it shouldn't have.I wish he'd do more but I don't think that's going to happen because of the crass "professionals" that hurt David's accomplishments.
