This game is just plain frustrating...seems like after world 3 they weren't messing around! It looks visually beautiful for the Wii, but indeed the levels are uninspired. What's with all this motion gaming.  I should have the option of whether I want motion control or not. The only other thing I can say good about this game is that I liked it's catchy music.

The controls are fine, it's the stage design that blew this one.

I think if they had basically made Banana Blitz again but with challenge mode from practically every other single Monkey Ball game I'd have enjoyed this one for more.

I really love the music in this game though.

I just hope you can use the wii mote to balance the monkey if you don't want to use balance board and also the song in this trailer I hope its actually a song in the game it sounds awsome!

Nope. Interviews have confirmed that the WiiMote control system from Banana Blitz in there, minus the ability to jump.

Main game of course. The game would suffer from poor sales for alienating the fanbase if you couldn't use the remote in standard play. The article said you could use the remote if you didn't feel like using, or didn't own the balance board.

They BETTER let this game be compatible with the gamecube controller. That was possibly the biggest flaw with Banana Blitz.

Also, I hope they just stick to a few mini games like Monkeyball 2 and make them just as good (Monkey Tennis?)

no, its cuz it interactive like take that teaser, people like DS cuz it has fun games and : Touch screen + games = FUN, so sega made the games controls on wii fit or whatever board, so that you can have fun with interacting!

Well this looks promising. And its a good use for the balance board too. Well its better than wii fit anyway. Then again, just about anything is better than wii fit. But whatever. This looks good. I may get it at some point, i'm not sure. I'd have to see more footage. But so far i like the sound of it.
