Anthony is a better fit with Circa, and I think Cove fits much better with Saosin. I really hate it when people sit and reminisce on the way a band "used to be" and who is better with them. If you enjoy the old Saosin then please, go listen to them and don't listen to new Saosin. But it is much better this way. Because Anthony is in Circa, they got popular. Ever since he left Saosin, they (also) got popular with Cove. I think it worked out perfectly for everyone.

Some of the greatest musicians of all times are those that just happened to also sell the most albums. (E.g. The Beatles, Bob Marley, etc.) You're right. The "old" Saosin had something: A miniscule fan following that wasn't going to grow. Keeping it all to yourself? Tisk tisk. Anthony was in Saosin for only a year. Get over it.

@menumotion2 Anthony left Saosin. Joined a better band. It's funny that people like the old Saosin that wasn't going "Anywhere." More than the new shit. The new stuff just isn't as good as the old Saosin, to radio friendly. You never hear shit from the new Saosin anyways. Anthony was only in the band for one year and look at the impact he made. He wasn't in it long enough to go somewhere. I'm glad he decided to leave. Circa Survive is far superior to this.

Ever since he left, Saosin got popular, and his new band Circa Survive got popular too. Saosin was not going to get to the level of (new) Saosin or Circa Survive had he stayed in the band. New Saosin is incredible.

O my so much banging more awesomeness than Cove's music style......I agree......Cove needs to let loose a little bit in his performances and add more screaming to his music.....This Saosin has a live stage presence that lives up to its music where as the present Saosin plays like a alternative band when its music is hard core.......Cove is an excellent singer and is great for Saosin! Just, he needs to put a little excitement into his leadership with the band.....
