  • Mine saves, but it isn't animated. It just sits there. Lol

  • Thanks for sharing that tip on saving animations. I have a question, Would I be able to put the animation on my website? If so, can you explain how? Thanks

  • When I go into the "Save for web & devices" and select original tab. The preview says 600kb but when I save the file it is 6MB. I'm trying to figure a way to make my gif look as good as possible without making the file too big or too pixelated. Any suggestions? Gif is 5 seconds long.

  • waw i didn't know that you could do that with Photoshope ^^ i made one with after effect it wasn't easy ,thx for the video mate

    don't forget to select forever

  • Thank you, you have just helped me make my first ever GIF! :D

  • Thank you! You have no idea how long I searched for this exact tutorial! =D

  • TY :]

  • What if there are selective parts, such as the background, that are transparent, yet when exported via Save For Web, there's a jagged white outline when the whole background should be transparent? This problem is not present if it's a single, non-animated image.

  • Where can I find the url???

  • thank you so much :D

  • love your accent lol

makes the whole thing much more enjoyable!

  • THANK YOU! Been trying to work this out for about half an hour. Switched to CS5 today. Been using CS2 up until now.

  • THANK YOU. SO MUCH.

  • mine wont loop, it will just save as one image

  • @tOnycuhz89 same here, anyone have advice, it won't loop but only play show as one image even when i select "forever" i've tried deselecting the layers, selecting only there first one, selecting all of them etc. before saving, but it won't play as a gif

    please help, anyone?

  • mine just saves as one image. :(

  • When you have saved your gif file to your folder, preview it in safari or explorer. It will only be saved in your folder as 1 file, which will be the starting image of your moving gif file. With the LOOPING problem, in the Save for Web palette, there is a looping option down the bottom right under the little animation bit. Select "Forever" and it will repeat its loop! Yew!

  • @discoshit Thanks for the info!

  • mine just saves as a single image......

  • for me there's always some weird white fuzz when I upload mine and try to use it, since it has PNG transparency, any idea how to fix this?

  • I did that but it wouldn't work :(

  • thanks! :)

  • This was very helpful as well as your "How to save" epilogue can you tell me how to make the gif loop though? as i cant figure it out.

  • @JSSXIII Below the 1st Frame of the gif there should be a little box that drops down and says 'Forever, 3Times and Once' in it. Make sure forever is checked and that should work I think :)

  • @JSSXIII I think it loops automatically. Does for me, at least...

  • thanks alot! but how do you upload it to a web site?

  • i like it

  • thnks much

  • you have the sexiest voice i have ever heard. haha<3
