  • Another loser with no plan in life. Hope you find yourself some day buddy. Forgetting your wha wha bottle at Starbucks??Then the next 5 minutes of wasted video is at stop lights not even a few miles from your last home.. bwahahahaaaa

  • @99bugout So this guys sets out on the adventure of a life time and you sit at your computer saying he has no plans in life. I’m sure hes "found" himself better than you ever will. If you have such great plans for your own life and are achieving so much why is it that you bother spend your time on YouTube making negative comments. Seems to me someone needs to take a look in the mirror and realize who their criticism really applies to!!!

  • wow!

are you riding all alone ??

  • What year is your KLR?

  • Speaking of preparation at the end, I hope you got some preparation H because you might be needing that xD

  • Any wonder your head is minced.

  • You are going to do great baby! I love you

  • Oh man... Bailing on your motorcycle is bad enough, but when it's chock full of expensive electronics... yeesh!

  • You're on your way, have an incredible time, been watching your preps and thoughts you will 'grow' so much. Good luck be with you!

  • go. be free.

  • god speed you !!!

  • good luck, dude. i hope this whole thing works out!!

  • GOOD LUCK!!!

  • hey Atlas just remember the trick with any manual transmission vehicle (including bikes) if your battery is dead you can always put it in 2nd or 3rd and roll it started by popping the clutch. Might be helpful if you're stuck out in the bush.

    Take Care

  • Ride safe and have a great trip man

  • "Short" I believe is the word you were looking for =p The wires melted and caused a short.

Definitely an easy thing to miss, can really screw you over if you blow fuses; or almost anything electrical. But just like you said, just roll with it.

  • Taking on any new venture is always a big risk. Its a big life decision you're making.Just becareful and ride safe.

  • riding down country club haha, right on i used to live in the apartments on country club and southern

  • Sounds cool, but really?? 8 Months long?

  • It's definitely gonna be an unforgettable adventure! Have fun, good luck, stay safe, and don't trust anyone!

  • @bedsheetmonkey - trust no-one? wow, that's cynical. apparently you havn't travelled the world before.... there are good people everywhere, and if you don't realise that, you will be very lonely indeed, and miss so much. why travel at all if not to experience the good that is everywhere?

  • @anurse1971

+1! I didn´t look, but i´m willing to bet that the comment comes from an american. Most of them only travel in their own country, and miss out the world travel part, so they don´t know how it is in reality, and they don´t know that traveling is about meeting people.. Thankfully Atlasrider is an exception, and i´m looking forward to his adventures..

Atlas: I wish you much luck, and i have to say that i´m very very jealous ;-)

  • from where did you upload this?

  • Best of luck! have fun....when you get back you better buy yourself a new bike for the success

  • Good Luck!

  • good luck i have just passed my bike test and planning europe for next year and your vids are a inspiration

  • Glad you're finally on the road. Good luck, stay safe, and here's hoping setbacks are kept to a minimum!

  • good luck mate! VIVA SOUTH AMERICA!

  • I wish you all the best in your big adventure. I hope you keep well and stay safe.

  • have fun :)

  • All the best mate. It is going to be an awesome trip. You'll do well.

  • man thats going to be tough to do we will be prying for you and a safe return when this journey is through and we look forward to the viedos as well

  • Kelly's Kawasaki is probably my favorite dealership.

Very good luck with your trip man. :)

  • Good luck m8, all the best!!

  • Setting out on a trip of this magnitude, the combination of excitement and anxiety must be almost overwhelming. Hopefully, after a week or so south of the border, you'll find yourself a bit more settled in, and well along in the adjustment to your new life on the road by yourself in foreign lands. Hang tough, stay safe, and most importantly, have a blast!

  • dude thats stupid a 8 month trip lol every day none stop not going to see your family?

  • I know where that is! lol

  • Have a Safe Journey!!! We will be there with you on the trip, just a few days behind (when you upload the video from that day).

  • voice is f***** up

  • love the way your klr sounds

  • Hope you have a great trip buddy - sure you will do! Remember to keep us all informed while you can :D

  • Good Luck man! Im very jealous of yah.

  • Atlas, I love that you're taking this trip. It's encouraging me to start planning my own latin america adventure. I hope it goes well for you and you're able to post on a regular basis.

    Now go have an adventure!

  • good luck.

  • Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!

  • Really Cool that you started it man. Doing it alone will definitely be an experience of a lifetime!

    Good luck, and be safe.

  • Awesome! Looking forward to the vids. I'm interesting to hear how you'll handle maintenance during the trip. Will you change brake pads yourself, ect?

  • @toadywonders I brought along a service manual. I can do a fair amount of maintenance so far, otherwise for anything major i'll find a shop

  • Very much looking forward to this! Please keep them coming, and travel safe!

  • Ewwwwww. Get back on your Ninja!!!

  • @Cokecanninja lol

  • Be careful, good luck and god speed!

  • Good luck, ride safe, and we're rooting for you!

  • wow. . .this is one of the bravest things I've seen someone do. Wish u the best of luck Atlas, and thanx for taking us along for the ride :)

  • Great to see your off now, keep us posted ok, you lucky bugger !

  • Great intro into the trip.

  • Good Luck but I am not sure you can do this. be very careful going through Mexico. This is not something I would try during the political climate south of the U.S.

  • one can never be too prepared. you will encounter unexpected situations. Your state of mind after you overcome those situations is the only thing that will determine if you are willing to continue the trip. Please remember to smile often, specially when your tired and on edge. :) Like so many before you have succeded, but not without some effort, and of course, hapiness for living the dream :)

  • @M3anMachin3 Awesome comment bro

  • Be brave, good luck. The adventure begins.

  • Bon voyage!

  • and remember to smile. People are in general very nice. Just make eye contact with the right people and smile. That is the only language you need.

  • good luck dude......i envy you. i dream about doing this at least once a month. Im on my kwack 250 ninja for 4 months...someday i will try this....someday. Have fun and stay positive. From a jealous guy in ireland.

  • You can't go wrong; it's not that kind of thing. Everything you're experiencing is right on target. Following your heart is always a "success".

Godspeed, and thanks for taking us along.

  • once again all the best Atlas from England

  • Good luck, I envy you. This will be the ride of a lifetime.

Thanks for taking us along and remember, even the bad time will seem like the best of times in years to come. Just stick with it.

  • One thing you wont be used to. Clean the lens of the pov frequently with your finger.

  • @svengalie If i dont care about HD, Would you still recommend the POV, or the Gopro, im curious, i've been stuck between these two for a while now?

  • @robinphillips definitely the POV for me. Depends what you want to do. I record for security. I like to record for 8 hours at a time and 'tag' small sections. Someone fell off, funny wheelie, some twat cut me up. Tag, tag, tat. 8 hours turns into 8 minutes of saved footage.

Gopro is set it recording and because it's HD you use up 3412252352gig in about 3 minutes. And then battery life is shit.

*shrug* If I was just recording at a racetrack, and i knew what i wanted to record before hand then..

  • @svengalie You can record in WVGA with the GoPro HD Motorsports and there's even none HD models I believe. Battery life isn't shit IMO. I use a 32 gig class 6 SDHC card and can record tons of footage without having to worry about the card filling up fast.

  • Good luck man! Hope you have a great trip!

  • Best wishes for you on your trip.

  • You are not going on a trip, but an adventure. With it, will come the unexpected downers, but you will get as many unexpected uppers. The law of averages never go away. In a few days you will be comfortable. Always tell yourself that "you can do this".

  • awesome. good luck and keep the rubber side down. this is going to be an awesome trip and series.
