You can slide down your SB settings and go to processes and delete the background apps that are currently not in use and then press "free up memory" or (if you have a 4th gen. iPod touch or iPhone 4 or later) you can double press the home button and you will see the apps that are currently in the background, press and hold into one of the apps until they start to shake and you will notice that there is a red marker for you to remove the apps being used in the background allowing a smoother perf

Hey, people, when you "free up memory", dose it delete stuff or... Like, what dose it actually do to free up memory space? I have SBsettings which has that option also but I'm affraid that it will delete things that haven't been used for a certain amount of time. How else could memory be freed up other than deleting stuff? Like, deleting is the only way right?
