ScrappinCricut's Cricut Expression and the Mix and Match Mode Video

I ordered my Cricut Expressions last night (I'm a Close to My Heart consultant and they are coming out with a special Cricut cartridge using CTMH designs inAugust 2011!!!) and have been watching YouTube videos all day today to figure out how to use it and this is the best one I have seen. Do you do a pracice cut with scrap paper in order to know how big you should make each paper to put on the mat? Can you do a video on that?

Be careful while bending the mat to get your pieces off...I bent mine and it snapped in half.. =[

I am so sorry that your mat broke. When you are bending your mat, you want it to be a gentle bend, just enough to make your paper lift a little bit. I have been using the Cricut since it came out and this is how I have been removing my cuts since then. I found that when I do this, my cardstock does not curl. It sort of pops off.

@Scrappincricut It's all good! I just got my cricut like a week ago. So the first time I used it I broke the mat, but that is to be expected. I had no idea what I was doing!!!!!!!!!!!! After studying youtube videos hopefully I can get the hang of it!

What is the purpose of using the mix and match key? Great video

The mix and match key allows you to use several different functions keys while only having to press the Cut button once. Normally you would have to press Cut after each function key used.
