can't be believable unless your character doesn't even know he's character

you become believable by replacing your personal internal dialogue with a imagined one that belongs to your character. do this thousands of times in front of audiences eventually you will connect the pieces with dedication. when your audience believes you and what you are doing as real, based on actually perceived internal generated by your character, they will identify with you. then extend their empathy.
