I'm sad to think the recent movie failed to capture the spirit of adventure in these original Astro Boy cartoons. From what I've seen of it it appears to have taken itself too seriously. Am I wrong?

@stramayne Yeah, you could say that. They try to add some humor but it isn't very good. They try too hard to make Astro look tough, so he isn't as playful and doesn't know how to have fun like he used to.
