This is a very close indication of how it will go against Mayweather. The pop shots and lead right hands will be similar to Forrest's long arms and hand speed. Hopefully Mosely will capitalize on the experience and be better prepared. He's gotta stay in close to set up quick, short combinations. He was standing too far away & couldn't counter. Should be a bit easier because Floyd is a smaller guy than Forrest. RIP Vernon Forrest. Great performance!

De La Hoya twice, Fernando Vargas twice, Luis Collazo (who isn't a top fighter, but is still VERY dangerous), Ricardo Mayorga, he got robbed against Cotto, and killed Margarito...plus he had the stones to get in with Winky Wright when he didn't have to.

It's more impressive than anything that Mayweather's done. Probably the only two guys out there who have taken on equal or greater competition are Cotto and Pacquiao.

I don't see Mayweather KOing Mosely, although I do see Floyd winning. Floyd's style doesn't waste much energy, so he goes into the late rounds with a good reserve. i agree that floyd is the most technically sound fighter in the game by far and his defense in incredible, i just think this fight will be more difficult than a fight with pacman would be for him. as far as age meaning that shane will get hurt and get tired Bernard is 45 and his looked brilliant in his last couple fights and expect the same in his fight against Roy. @MrRick1254 Hey im not right because i was shocked......when mayweather got stunned twice in the second round I thought he was done...really......but when round 3 started.......look at round three right when it starts the ref breaks them apart the first time...the second time the ref breaks them apart mayweather tries to throw in an agressive left....I thought to what nazeem said...fight like a dragon step on his tail....mayweather did not adapt he strictly looked for openings.

I don't seen anyone beating him......ever.....defense ability to not get hit....if he gets hit can take a power punch....but never cut......never hurt...(he was stunned but obviously not hurt or the fought would not have went the way it did....if you watched the fight from 3rounds on you would have never thought mayweather was hit at all or like he was in rd 2. )

Like i said to mrrick...watch the fight from 3rd round on you would think mayweather never was touched the entire fight. Mayweather was so fast with his combinations you could not even see the gloves as he was punching and I watched hd plasma t.v. at my girls house. Mosley got hit with some damn good shots but I still don't think Mayfeather could've pulled off a stoppage. Mosley has a way of avoiding stoppages. Just look at the Forrest fight. He might have been befuddled by Mayfeather but Mosley has enough ring savy not to get stopped by an accumulation of punches. To stop Mosley, you have KO him with 1 shot like RJJ.

I see what you're saying and I agree to a point. Winky did come off a long-layoff, thought he could outlast P. Williams and was in my opinion overlooking him. All that contributed to his loss. But I think he had more punching power at the weight he fought Winky at than 147. All in all, Floyd would have the most nightmare of a fight with him at 147. However, he has shown he can be outboxed. He never adjusted to Quintana in the first fight, I think Floyd has a chance...jus not a great one.

Martinez moved side to side half the fight and made it difficult for paul to steady martinez to accumulate damage not to mention the counter punches martinez did which floyd can do as well. Floyd can block if he has to and counter punch with speed. Paul is tall and throws punches all day but we seen his chin isn't the greatest and he isn't a precise puncher and he isn't a ko artist either but can hurt u.

What weight class you talking about? At jr mddlwght, possibly. At 147, no I can't agree. It's sad to see how Floyd's persona has kept people from the fact Floyd is the smartest boxer out. He won't get murdered in any fight, Vernon hit's hard but Floyd wouldn't fight like Shane did (staying in Vernon's range the whole damn fight). Floyd would get to the pit of Vernon's stomach at 147 in route to a split decision. At 154...he'd possibly get ko'd but I won't take him out the fight cuz of his IQ

Forrest didn't fight smart in that first Mayorga fight. He tried to brawl with a brawler. In the 2nd fight he actually went back to boxing and you can argue he won a decision. If not for his shoulder he probably would have won a clear UD against Mayorga that time around.

Alot of credit to Shane for getting himself together.Mosley is lucky that the first knockdown didn't happen right away,in the beginning of the round.If there was some time left after the second knockdown i don't know if Shane would have had a KO on his resume.He might have been stopped.
