How to share Hard Disk Drives On Windows 7, 8 or Vista

How do i make a drive that's open for everyone who connects into my wireless connection?My computer has a password. I want to share the drive without entering my computers password.

How can I do so that other people on my network can change/edit on that shared Hard Drive? When I then try to add some pictures on that Hard Drive from another computer I get a message that I need to have permission.

@swc20 you will need to set the permissions in the share dialog.

@Freestyleartclub if you are on the same network as them they can, if not they can't see it.

@M4cey I am on cable internet and can see someone else's computer though I can view anything because I don't have permissions. How do I ensure nobody on the network can see my stuff? I assume if I can see his, he can see mine as well (just the computer name but that still makes me nervous)
